FingerMotion (FNGR), together with Genius Group (GNS) and BlueFlare, announced that they have signed a second binding agreement, with a joint venture agreement for the Brooks Corridor Campus Program, covering up to 100 MW of powered land and colocation campuses in Alberta, together with a project agreement for its first site, Brooks Campus No. 1. The agreements build on the partners' October 27 announcement of GENIUSpark Alberta and its first AI compute site at Hanna, and bring Genius Group into a second layer of FingerMotion and BlueFlare's recently announced Alberta build-out: the powered land and colocation on which high-performance computing companies run their own compute.
Genius Group and FingerMotion Sign Agreement to Build GENIUSpark Alberta
Genius Group (GNS), FingerMotion (FNGR) and BlueFlare Energy Solutions announced that they have signed binding agreements to form GENIUSpark Alberta and to build its first site, Hanna Campus No. 1. GENIUSpark Alberta will be formed under a binding joint venture and shareholder agreement with Genius Group holding 49% and FingerMotion holding 51% of the initial issued share capital. The total project cost for Hanna is estimated at $24.3M, targeted to be funded with about $14.4M of non-recourse project debt and $9.9M of equity contributed in proportion to the partners' ownership. The site plans to launch a first phase of 3 MW of grid power and 2.4 MW of high-performance computing capacity running 432 GPU servers. Construction is planned to begin in December, with first compute targeted for Q2 2027. At full capacity, Hanna is designed to generate more than $24M in annual revenue. GENIUSpark Alberta targets an initial 100 MW of high-performance computing capacity and a stretch goal of 1 GW. Closing is subject to customary conditions, including completion of the land purchase, the grid connection agreement, project financing and regulatory approvals. "Today we are pleased to have signed our first joint venture to build the GENIUSpark model in Alberta," said Roger James Hamilton, founder and CEO of Genius Group.

Genius Group Resumes Bitcoin Purchases, Spending Approximately $854,000
Genius Group announced it has recommenced bitcoin treasury purchases, acquiring 10 bitcoin for about $854,000 at an average price of $85,364 per bitcoin between October 2 and October 5. The purchases are the next step in the company's board-approved $1.2B dual treasury capital plan announced August 27, targeting $827M allocated to bitcoin and $800M to AI assets, with a goal of $2B in total assets by FY31. The recommencement follows an August 31 ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit vacating a preliminary injunction that had blocked the company from issuing shares, raising funds, and purchasing bitcoin. The company intends to fund purchases through operating cash flow, planned perpetual preferred securities, and its at-the-market program, with no current plans to use debt or hypothecate holdings. "This week's purchase of bitcoin, while modest, is a signal to our shareholders and to the market that we are recommencing our bitcoin accumulation strategy at what we believe is the early stages of bitcoin's next major uptrend," said Roger James Hamilton, CEO.
