Venu Holding Closes $60M Sale-Leaseback Transaction
Venu Holding announced that it has successfully closed a $60M sale-leaseback transaction on the land beneath its Sunset Amphitheater and adjacent parking garage in McKinney, Texas. The transaction was completed with STORE Capital and represents the continued implementation of a key pillar of the Company's previously announced financing strategy, alongside public-private partnerships and Luxe FireSuite sales. "Closing this $60 million sale-leaseback shows how we put our real estate to work," said J.W. Roth, Founder, CEO and Chairman of VENU. "This capital positions us to retire our bridge financing and complete construction as we prepare to open the doors in McKinney, with a partner of STORE Capital's caliber at our side.
Hunt Sports Development Partners with Peak Curated Development for Frisco Mixed-Use District
Hunt Sports Development announced a partnership with Peak Curated Development and Venu Holding Corporation to create a transformational mixed-use district on the east side of Toyota Stadium and Soccer Center in Frisco, the home of FC Dallas. The district will complement the multi-phase office complex on the west side of the stadium, announced last year, which will feature more than one million square feet of premium office space. The resulting mixed-use development surrounding Toyota Stadium will serve residents, visitors, sports fans and businesses throughout the North Texas community. The partnership will further establish Toyota Stadium and Soccer Center as an anchor for the Frisco community and an economic engine for North Texas, transforming the campus into a year-round destination for hospitality, business, dining, and entertainment. The project is slated for groundbreaking in 2027.
Venu Holding Partners with Northeastern State University for Long-Term Collaboration
Venu Holding and Northeastern State University - NSU -, Oklahoma's oldest institution of higher education, announced a long-term partnership with Venu's Regent Bank Amphitheater in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Under the multi-year partnership agreement, NSU becomes the Official University of Regent Bank Amphitheater. The partnership extends to NSU students' system-wide, across campuses in Tahlequah, Muskogee, Broken Arrow and online, and is designed to broaden students' access to scholarships, academic programming and real-world career opportunities. The partnership takes shape through academic opportunities for NSU students, including internships and practicums with Venu, along with guest speaker activations and other programming support across NSU's academic offerings. Regent Bank Amphitheater will also welcome NSU on-site throughout the year, hosting student-focused events. The programming is targeted to begin in conjunction with the venue's targeted Fall 2026 opening. Once open, Regent Bank Amphitheater is projected to generate $4.3B in total economic impact in the first 20 years of operation for the greater Broken Arrow region.
Venu Holding Luxe FireSuite Sales Exceed $290 Million
Venu Holding announced strong Luxe FireSuite sales performance, highlighting three of its venues under development, underscoring continued demand for premium hospitality experiences in the Company's target markets. Since the program's inception, Luxe FireSuite sales have generated over $290M in sales for the Company. FireSuite sales average over 80% sold across the three venues, standing at: Regent Bank Amphitheater: more than 70% sold; Sunset Amphitheater: more than 90% sold; The Hall at Centennial: more than 75% sold.
