Douglas Elliman announced the launch of a company-wide technology infrastructure transformation to support the Company's evolution into a technology-forward enterprise. "The effort is designed to fundamentally change how Douglas Elliman operates to improve efficiency, enhance the agent advisor and client experience, and reshape its long-term cost structure," the company said. The Company also announced the launch of Elius, a newly formed intelligence company.
Chris Reyes named CTO of Douglas Elliman Realty
Douglas Elliman Realty announced the appointment of Chris Reyes as Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Reyes joins Douglas Elliman from Brown Harris Stevens where he served as CTO. In his new role, Reyes will oversee Douglas Elliman's technology team, infrastructure, product launch, and software development across all regions nationally.

Douglas Elliman announced the launch of Elliman International, extending the company's service to key global markets. The company's international expansion will begin with immediate activation of core services for existing Douglas Elliman clients, followed by strategic recruitment of teams and individual agents who will operate under the Elliman banner. Select physical office locations in key markets are also planned.
Anywhere offered over $4 per share for Douglas Elliman, Bloomberg says
Douglas Elliman (DOUG) received a merger offer from a competitor this week that would value the business at about double its current share price, Sridhar Natarajan and Jennifer Epstein of Bloomberg report, citing people with knowledge of the matter. Anywhere Real Estate (HOUS) has approached Douglas Elliman with a bid that would value it at more than $4 a share, a source told Bloomberg. Elliman isn't likely to accept the bid at the current level, the person added. As part of the proposed deal, Anywhere would seek to sell Douglas Elliman's property management business, one of the people noted. Shares of Douglas Elliman jumped 21% to $2.59 following the report.
