CytoSorbents Announces Key Study Results on Intraoperative Use of CytoSorb

CytoSorbents announced an independent new patient-level matched analysis of real-world data demonstrating that intraoperative use of CytoSorb was associated with a significant reduction in severe perioperative bleeding among patients undergoing urgent coronary artery bypass grafting, CABG, surgery on the blood thinner, ticagrelor. The findings were presented at the European Society of Cardiology, ESC, Congress 2026 on August 29, 2026. The independent analysis showed: A significant 37% relative reduction in BARC-4 severe bleeding with CytoSorb use; Number of patients needed to be treated with CytoSorb to prevent one severe bleeding event after urgent CABG was eight; Significant reductions in 24-hour chest tube drainage and red blood cell transfusions with CytoSorb use was also observed; No serious device-related adverse events were reported

CytoSorbents Reports Q1 Revenue of $8.9M

Reports Q1 revenue $8.9M vs. $8.7M last year. "First quarter sales were $8.9 million, driven by 13% growth in our direct sales territories outside of Germany," stated Dr. Phillip Chan, Chief Executive Officer of CytoSorbents Corporation. "Our Germany sales team also performed well, achieving sales slightly below last year, but with a smaller and more focused team - reflecting new leadership, sales execution, account targeting, productivity, and customer engagement. Given the importance of the German market, we plan to selectively expand our commercial team to improve account coverage and drive growth opportunities in both critical care and cardiac surgery."

Reports Q4 revenue $9.23M vs. $9.15M last year. "2025 was a transitional year for our business as we made good progress in four key objectives," stated Dr. Phillip Chan, CEO of CytoSorbents. "We ended the year with positive clinical and commercial momentum for 2026, with a lower cost structure and improved balance sheet to support our growth. Additionally, we continue to make progress with the FDA to align on the content and timing of a new De Novo submission for DrugSorb-ATR and look forward to providing further updates in the future."
