A formal framework could still emerge, but the delay reinforces the broader regulatory vacuum as states continue pursuing their own AI rules, according to the report.
Venezuela Considers Leaving OPEC
Venezuela is carefully considering plans to leave OPEC, in a move that would deal a strong blow to the oil cartel it helped establish more than six decades ago, Bloomberg's Ben Bartenstein, Mie Dahl, and Mitchell Ferman report, citing people familiar with the matter. The idea of leaving has been a topic in conversation with U.S. officials, and no final decision has been made on the matter, the authors note. Publicly traded companies in the space include BP (BP), Chevron (CVX), ConocoPhillips (COP), Exxon Mobil (XOM), Shell (SHEL) and TotalEnergies (TTE).
