VirTra Awarded $1.5M Contract by U.S. Army
VirTra was awarded a $1.5M sole-source contract by the U.S. Army. Under the contract, VirTra will provide an integrated V-300 4k training system that includes the simulation system, weapon recoil kits, supporting equipment and related components to support firearms training in Tajikistan and strengthen the readiness and mission effectiveness of international partner forces.
VirTra Accepted into U.S. Army Marketplace
VirTra announced that it has been accepted into the U.S. Army Marketplace for commercial off-the-shelf solutions across three capability areas: Weapons Skills Development, Joint Fires Training, and Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems. VirTra announces Q3 EPS of 3 cents, below consensus of 4 cents
Reports Q3 revenue $5.35M, consensus $6.99M. VirTra CEO John Givens stated, "In the third quarter, we continued to work through a slower federal funding cycle. The timing of federal awards and customer acceptances affected near-term revenue recognition, but it has not changed the level of engagement we are seeing from agencies. Our backlog increased again in Q3, and we entered the fourth quarter with a larger pipeline of opportunities tied to grant-driven purchasing."
