ZenaTech Wins Nearly $1M Contracts for Land Surveying
ZenaTech announced that one of its U.S. Drone as a Service locations has won multiple bids to preform land surveying with an initial aggregate value of nearly $1M for a U.S.-based utility company's solar infrastructure construction project. The contracts cover drone-based topographic surveys supporting what is expected to be a multi-year, multi-billion-dollar electrical grid upgrade. Subject to successful execution and additional contract awards, management estimates that the project could generate up to $2.5M in additional revenue over the next two years, with further potential for drone-based solar infrastructure inspection operations following construction completion.
ZenaTech Achieves Over 27% Organic Growth in 2025
"Over 27% organic growth across the locations we acquired in 2025 shows the Drone as a Service model working as designed: we acquire established survey and inspection businesses, introduce drones and AI into their workflow, and see the results in their revenue," said Shaun Passley, ZenaTech CEO. "We are executing quickly, and each new location strengthens the AI autonomy platform we are building across the network. Drone-based land survey and inspection is a differentiated offering in a traditional industry; our marketing investments are building brand awareness and name recognition, and our acquisition strategy deliberately focuses on regions where geographic growth and economic development are driving construction and business growth, and with it the demand for DaaS. We believe this combination positions ZenaTech for sustained growth."
ZenaTech Launches AI Smart Safety Glasses Stacklens
ZenaTech unveiled Stacklens, a line of AI-powered smart safety glasses designed for field technicians, inspectors and industrial crews. ZenaTech plans to launch Stacklens in three versions, each suited to a different field environment and use case. The product is currently at the prototype and testing stage, with customer pilots expected to begin in 2027. "Smart glasses have arrived for consumers, but the people who could benefit most are the millions of technicians who need both hands and real answers on the job. Stacklens puts an AI expert, a camera and a direct line to a senior technician right in a pair of safety glasses. It fits naturally alongside our drone services and enterprise software, and we see it as a promising new opportunity for ZenaTech," said Shaun Passley, Ph.D., ZenaTech CEO.
ZenaTech Reports Q2 Revenue of $9.3 Million, Up 316% Year Over Year
ZenaTech provides a business update and future outlook in a letter to shareholders from CEO Shaun Passley, Ph.D. "ZenaTech continues its evolution from a technology development company with a software revenue base to a diversified, multi-product and vertically integrated operating company with a scalable Drone as a Service platform, and advancing commercial, government and defense drone technology portfolio, and an enterprise software business... Second-quarter revenue reached $9.3 million, up 316% year over year, while revenue for the first six months reached $17.7 million, up 425% from the comparable period last year... The scale of our operating platform continues to expand. In Q2 2026, we completed four land survey and legacy service business acquisitions, bringing our cumulative DaaS acquisition count to 24 at June 30... As we move through the second half of 2026, we believe we are positioned to continue building the business. Our priorities remain integrating and scaling our platforms, converting technology investment into revenue, and continuing the disciplined M&A activity that has driven our growth. In DaaS, we are working to close transactions covered by signed acquisition offers while continuing to integrate acquired survey, inspection and power-washing businesses into drone-based delivery. In drone technology and defense, we are advancing product development, the Blue UAS certification process and engagement with U.S. defense agencies."
ZenaTech Advances ZenaDrone Defense Quantum Navigation System to Testing Phase
ZenaTech announces that its drone subsidiary ZenaDrone has advanced its defense-focused quantum navigation system, which is designed to enable secure drone operations in GPS-denied and satellite-compromised environments, to the testing phase. Testing is now underway at ZenaDrone's manufacturing and testing facilities in Sharjah, UAE, where the company's engineering team is working to validate the system's navigation accuracy and reliability under real-world flight conditions. Initial testing is beginning with the IQ Nano indoor drone platform in non-GPS environments.
