Precision Optics Secures $50,000 Satellite Development Order

Precision Optics announced the receipt of an initial $50,000 development order from a U.S. space technology company developing a new satellite constellation. The order supports early engineering work on laser communication subassemblies intended for use in Optical Communication Terminals on the customer's satellite systems. This engagement represents the company's second satellite customer. Work will begin promptly in support of the customer's accelerated development schedule. This early phase is expected to be completed in approximately one month with the customer's stated goal to begin production within six to twelve months. Precision Optics expects to finalize an engineering agreement to develop final designs followed by the transition to production.

Precision Optics Receives $1.3M Follow-On Orders

Precision Optics announced the receipt of follow-on production orders totaling approximately $1.3M from a large U.S. defense contractor. The order supports continued production of highly complex optical assemblies developed jointly with the customer and manufactured by Precision Optics since 2018. The company and its customer expect to negotiate a long-term manufacturing agreement in the coming months with provisions for a structured order framework designed to reduce order gaps and support a more continuous manufacturing cadence.
