Bimergen Energy Subsidiary Applies for Texas Retail Electric Provider Certificate
Bimergen Energy's wholly owned subsidiary Emergen Commodities has filed an application with the Public Utility Commission of Texas for an Option 2 Retail Electric Provider certificate. The application represents a step toward adding retail electricity capabilities to Bimergen's energy infrastructure business. Subject to regulatory approval and applicable market requirements, the certification would enable Bimergen, through Emergen Commodities, to supply electricity directly to qualifying data center customers in Texas, such as large data center customers. Texas' Option 2 certification provides a pathway to serve specifically identified customers contracting for at least 1 MW of capacity. Subject to regulatory approval and applicable market requirements, the certification would establish a foundation for Emergen Commodities to participate in this segment of the Texas retail electricity market. In parallel with the regulatory process, Bimergen is working with multiple counterparties to provide credit support for large data center loads.

Bimergen Energy Closes 100 MW Battery Storage Project Deal
Bimergen Energy announced that the Bimergen Redbird BESS Project, a 100 MW / 400 MWh battery energy storage project located outside of Houston and two Texas 10s / 80 MWh have closed with FPU-BEC Development Topco, LLC affiliated with Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. and its Frontier Power & Utilities. The projects are expected to utilize Eos Energy Enterprises, Z3 long-duration batteries. Bimergen has received $6.4M cash and will receive an additional $2.5M upon Redbird project achieving milestones within Frontier's platform to achieve operating assets. Additional consideration for the transaction is in the form of a 7.5% equity stake in the projects. The operating battery storage projects will primarily generate revenues and gross profits from routinely purchasing power at low prices and selling back to the grid at higher prices. "This transaction marks an important milestone for Bimergen as we continue to execute our strategy of developing high-quality battery energy storage projects and partnering with institutional capital to bring them to market," said Cole Johnson, Co-CEO of Bimergen Energy. "We have now received $6.4 million in cash, expect an additional $2.5 million upon the achievement of remaining project milestones, and have retained a 7.5% ownership interest in this 480 MWh ERCOT portfolio. This structure provides immediate liquidity while preserving meaningful long-term upside for our shareholders.
Eos Energy Partners with Frontier Power on Wildfire BESS Project
Eos Energy (EOSE) announced that Frontier Power USA has selected the Wildfire BESS Project, a battery energy storage project from Bimergen Energy Corporation (BESS). The project has been selected for conversion onto the Frontier Power platform under the companies' strategic framework and is expected to use Eos Energy's Z3 long-duration batteries. "Wildfire reflects the depth of Bimergen's development work in ERCOT," said Cole Johnson, co-CEO of Bimergen Energy. "This is our second transaction under the framework with FPUSA, and it shows how the model is designed to work: Bimergen originates and develops late-stage projects, and the platform converts them into construction-ready assets with committed American-made battery supply and institutional capital behind them. We look forward to completing documentation and moving Wildfire toward construction".
