Ultralife Reports Q4 Revenue of $48.5M
Reports Q4 revenue $48.5M vs $43.852M last year. "During the fourth quarter we took a number of decisive actions to remove structural and manufacturing inefficiencies from our global operations. For example, we commenced the realignment of our four thionyl chloride/oil & gas operations into one business within our Battery & Energy Products segment focused on industrial, specialty and telemetry solutions in order to optimize synergies, deepen customer engagement and expand value propositions. We also designed a master brand strategy uniting all acquired sub-brands under the Ultralife brand and aligning sales of the total Ultralife portfolio, and we completed steps to strengthen the operational leadership at our two largest manufacturing facilities. While we were intensely focused on addressing operational improvements during the quarter, strong order flow increased backlog to $110 million at the end of 2025, representing a 22% increase over the third quarter," said Mike Manna, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Ultralife Announces Q3 Earnings Per Share of 7 Cents Compared to 2 Cents Last Year
Reports Q3 revenue $43.4M vs $35.7M last year. "Although revenue grew 2.5% organically and 21.5% including the Electrochem acquisition for the third quarter, supply chain issues caused manufacturing inefficiencies in our Battery & Energy Products business and orders continued to be delayed in our Communications Systems business, both of which impacted overall profitability. In response, we are intensifying our lean and process improvement initiatives, improving supply chain resiliency and rationalizing our manufacturing operations," said Mike Manna, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Ultralife awarded $5.2 million by U.S. DLA for BA-5390 battery production
Ultralife has received an award valued at approximately $5.2M from the U.S. Government's Defense Logistics Agency for its lithium manganese dioxide, non-rechargeable BA-5390 military batteries. The majority of the shipments are scheduled throughout 2026 with completion in early 2027.
Ultralife reports Q2 adjusted EPS 7c vs 22c last year
Reports Q2 revenue $48.6M vs $42.983M last year. "The second quarter was a challenging period for Ultralife. While the addition of Electrochem lifted revenue, Battery & Energy Products organic sales were essentially flat and Communications Systems sales declined due to delayed purchase orders. We also faced headwinds from tariffs, unfavorable product mix shifts across our business and order timing, which collectively impacted gross profit. Nevertheless, we continued to invest in new product development, with several offerings advancing into validation and production. We also applied the proceeds from our Employee Retention Credit collected during the quarter to prepay some of our acquisition debt, paying down a total of $2.7 million, $2.0 million more than our quarterly debt amortization requirement," said Mike Manna, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Ultralife reports Q1 adjusted EPS 13c vs 21c last year
Reports Q1 revenue $50.746M vs $41.927M last year. "We delivered a strong first quarter with a 21% revenue increase year over year. Robust organic growth in our Battery & Energy Products government/defense sales, coupled with the contribution of Electrochem, compensated for continued delays in the timing of expected larger orders for our Communications Systems segment. We remained focused on improving gross margin, achieving a 90-basis point sequential increase and a 7% inventory reduction, which freed up cash for strategic capital investments. Integration of our Electrochem acquisition continues to progress well, positioning us to capture manufacturing cost efficiencies and savings through U.S.-based vertical integration," said Mike Manna, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We are actively implementing our tariff mitigation plan to manage the operational impact of tariffs across our supply chains. Our plan includes tariff surcharges, adjusting inventory movements, and reviewing sourcing and manufacturing locations."
