Tyler Technologies announced that Fairfax County, Virginia, has launched 'Ask Fairfax', a generative digital assistant powered by Tyler's Resident AI Assistant. The solution provides residents with fast, secure access to information sourced exclusively from Fairfax County's official website, fairfaxcounty.gov. As part of its digital modernization efforts, Fairfax County implemented Tyler's Resident AI Assistant to replace a legacy chatbot solution. Residents can now access critical information in seconds through a centralized, one-stop resource, eliminating the need to navigate multiple websites and departments. The solution also provides analytics on search trends, popular topics, and engagement, while protecting privacy by collecting only anonymized metrics, not resident conversations.
Tyler Technologies Partners with South Carolina DMV to Implement Electronic Titling Services
Tyler Technologies announced that the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles will implement electronic titling services through the state's existing Digital Government Services contract with Tyler, expanding the state's use of Tyler solutions as part of a relationship spanning more than 21 years. Through the DGS contract, SCDMV will implement a fully digital titling solution from Tyler and CHAMP, replacing paper-based processes with a streamlined electronic workflow. The solution will enable vehicle titles to be processed in as little as 24 hours while improving collaboration among SCDMV, dealers and lenders, and increasing accuracy and operational efficiency.
Tyler Technologies Initiates Up to $260M Stock Buyback Plan
Tyler Technologies disclosed that it entered into a rule 10b5-1 trading plan with a brokerage firm to repurchase up to $260M of its common stock. Share repurchases under the plan may commence on September 16 and will end October 29. Tyler's share repurchase program was originally announced in October 2002 and was amended at various times from 2003 through 2026. On February 3, its board authorized the repurchase of up to $1.0B of common stock, which replaced and superseded all previous authorizations. On July 24, the board authorized an additional $1.5B share repurchase plan.
Tyler Technologies Selected for Nebraska Statewide AI Assistant Deployment
Tyler Technologies announced that the state of Nebraska has selected Tyler's Resident AI Assistant for statewide deployment following a successful pilot at the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles, or DMV. "The Nebraska DMV is also expanding its use of Tyler's Document Automation platform to modernize motor carrier operations and strengthen compliance processes. The statewide implementation builds on the success of the Nebraska DMV's Resident AI Assistant, which provides residents with trusted information from verified state websites in more than 50 languages. In addition to the statewide AI initiative, the Nebraska DMV is implementing Tyler's Document Automation platform to support motor carrier vehicle identification number validation processes. The rollout will begin on Nebraska.gov before expanding to participating agencies," the company stated.
