Iveda Launches IvedaAir Autonomous Helicopters
Iveda announced the launch of IvedaAir, their latest line of autonomous unmanned helicopters engineered to deliver real-time aerial intelligence for public safety, maritime, and emergency response operations. Unlike conventional quadcopter drones, the IvedaAir line's helicopter-form design provides the endurance, stability, and payload flexibility required for real-world mission environments, including coastal operations, high winds, remote terrain, and extended deployments. The line is among only a small number of helicopter-style UAV systems commercially available worldwide and is uniquely designed to integrate directly with IvedaAI analytics while creating a future pathway to retrofit retired full-size helicopters into autonomous drone platforms. The initiative is intended to help agencies and organizations extend the operational life of existing aircrafts while reducing the cost of deploying next-generation autonomous aviation systems. In addition, the IvedaAir drone line can be purchased directly by FAA-licensed drone pilots and military-certified pilots, helping accelerate deployment timelines for public safety agencies, maritime operators, and commercial organizations.
Iveda Announces Strategic Partnership with GlobalMed
Iveda announced a strategic partnership with GlobalMed. The partnership combines GlobalMed's virtual-care ecosystem and government knowledge with Iveda's AI-powered situational awareness technologies. "Joel and I share a belief that the best partnerships are built around solving the whole problem, not simply adding another product," said David Ly, CEO and founder of Iveda. "GlobalMed has built an extraordinary ecosystem for extending secure, high-quality care into some of the world's most demanding environments. By combining that foundation with Iveda's real-time intelligence, we can create solutions that help government teams understand what is happening, locate the people and resources that matter, and make better decisions when every second counts."
Iveda Completes EU AI Act Readiness Initiative
Iveda announced the completion of a comprehensive European Union Artificial Intelligence Act readiness initiative, positioning IvedaAI for continued responsible deployment as the company expands across Europe. The initiative combines a documented risk-classification assessment with an extensive governance framework addressing human oversight, transparency, data protection, AI fairness, prohibited uses, and ongoing lifecycle management. The EU AI Act, the world's first comprehensive legal framework governing artificial intelligence, entered into force on August 1, 2024, with its next major provisions beginning to apply on August 2, 2026. While organizations around the world continue to determine how the regulation will affect their AI development and deployment practices, Iveda began preparing its governance framework in early 2025, building upon the company's existing GDPR data-protection practices and long-standing commitment to responsible technology. "Responsible AI cannot be treated as a last-minute compliance exercise or a box to check before a deadline," said David Ly, CEO. "It must be built into how technology is developed, tested, documented, deployed, and continuously monitored. As Europe establishes a new global benchmark for AI governance, Iveda is prepared not only to meet those expectations, but to help our partners deploy advanced video intelligence with confidence." As part of the initiative, Iveda completed a comprehensive assessment of IvedaAI under the EU AI Act's risk-based framework. Based on its documented intended purpose, required human oversight, and European deployment controls, Iveda determined that the approved EU configuration of IvedaAI does not pose a significant risk of harm to individuals' health, safety, or fundamental rights. IvedaAI is designed to augment human awareness and decision-making rather than replace human judgment.
Iveda Announces New Partnership with Primion
Iveda announced a new partnership with Primion. Under the agreement, IvedaAI is now available as a standalone solution through Primion, with a longer-term roadmap to deepen the integration natively within Primion's converged security ecosystem. "Technology matters most when it creates clarity, confidence and real value for people," said Primion CEO Francis Cepero. "This is exactly how we want to drive Primion forward. Our customers are not asking for more complexity. They are looking for security solutions that simplify operations, connect critical information and support better decisions when every second counts. With Iveda, we take our Converged Security approach one step further, combining AI-powered video analytics with access control and security management to create a more intelligent, connected and responsive security ecosystem."
Iveda Launches Upgraded IvedaCare AI Care Platform
Iveda announced the next evolution of IvedaCare, an AI care platform for senior living and aging-in-place environments. The company said, "The updated IvedaCare Kit now includes Sleep Sense, a contactless overnight wellness sensor that gives caregivers, nursing staff, and families nightly visibility into senior health without cameras or wearables. Research links insufficient sleep to nearly half of the leading causes of death, making it one of the most important - and most overlooked - indicators of health in senior care. For older adults, changes in sleep quality can signal shifts in wellness long before they become visible during the day. Sleep Sense addresses this gap directly, adding overnight vital sign monitoring to IvedaCare, allowing caregivers to track heart rate, respiratory rate, and sleep patterns night after night and surface trends before they escalate into clinical events. The additional motion, and door and cabinet sensors strengthen the system's ability to understand nightly activity patterns."
