Ribbon Communications Q2 Revenue Reaches $192M, Exceeds Expectations
Reports Q2 revenue $192M, consensus $189.99M. We had meaningful sequential improvement in revenue and profitability in both of our operating segments in the Q2, with key financial metrics above the mid-point of our guidance. Demand continued to strengthen in our IP Optical Networks business, resulting in a new record level of bookings, and one of our best quarters in the U.S. market," stated Bruce McClelland, President and CEO of Ribbon Communications. "The Enterprise market was also a highlight in the quarter with a major Microsoft Teams Voice deployment with a top tier financial institution, and the announcement of our partnership with Salesforce for their new Agentforce Contact Center launch.
Ribbon Communications Partners with Hub One for Core Call Routing Engine
Ribbon Communications announced that Hub One, one of France's operators and integrators connecting, digitalizing and protecting businesses and public organizations, has selected Ribbon's PSX Policy and Routing Engine to serve as the core call routing engine for its voice traffic. Ribbon's PSX enables service providers to assign priority, offer admission control, address least cost routing, quality of service routing, toll-free number routing, and number translation services.
Ribbon Communications Appoints Rick Marmurek as CFO
Ribbon Communications announced that Rick Marmurek, Ribbon's current Deputy CFO and Chief Accounting Officer, has been promoted to Executive Vice President, CFO and Chief Accounting Officer, effective May 1. He will succeed current CFO John Townsend who will be leaving Ribbon effective April 30 to take another professional opportunity. Marmurek, CPA brings more than 35 years of financial experience, including more than 15 years at Ribbon or its predecessor companies, where he has served as Senior Vice President, Deputy CFO and Chief Accounting Officer since 2024.
