Nixxy Pursues Infrastructure Investment Strategy for AI
The company said, "Nixxy is pursuing a strategy to develop and invest in critical infrastructure supporting the accelerating demand for artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and advanced energy systems. The Company believes that artificial intelligence represents one of the largest infrastructure investment cycles in modern history. Management expects future growth will be driven by increasing demand for reliable power, digital infrastructure, and integrated development capabilities. Through disciplined capital allocation and strategic partnerships, the Company seeks to originate, develop, finance, operate, and optimize infrastructure assets positioned to support long-term growth across the AI economy. As its strategic review progresses, Nixxy expects to provide additional updates regarding corporate initiatives, development activities, strategic partnerships, and long-term capital plans."
Nixxy in Negotiations with Nakota Project Developer
Nixxy announced it is currently in negotiations directly with the developer of the Nakota project to procure the Nakota property and provide all funds required to obtain the necessary permits and approvals to advance the project. In addition, the company is working on a long-term global definitive agreement to acquire the entire project. The new structure will allow Nixxy to own a much larger percentage of the Nakota project than previously contemplated.
Nixxy Appoints David Kratochvil as CEO
Nixxy appointed current Chairman of the Board David Kratochvil to the position of CEO, effective July 2. Kratochvil will succeed Mike Schmidt, who stepped down to pursue other opportunities. To ensure continuity of leadership and seamless execution of the company's strategic vision, Kratochvil will maintain his role as Chairman of the Board, assuming the title of Chairman and CEO. Kratochvil has served on Nixxy's Board since January 2025 and as Chairman of the Board since January 2026. The board also elected Simon Kearney as a member of the Board of Directors on June 29. Since January 2012, Kearney has served as President and CEO of Kilkenny, and since January 2015, he has served as President and CEO of Killane. He also served as President of Kilnock, Inc. from March 2003 until September 2023.
Nixxy Advances $1B AI Infrastructure Project with Tachyon 9
Nixxy announced that its proposed strategic combination with Tachyon 9 Corporation is advancing what the Company believes is a differentiated model for next-generation AI infrastructure: the $1B Nakota Data Campus, designed to deliver up to one gigawatt of AI computing capacity through a large-scale North Dakota development built around firm on-site power. "As demand for artificial intelligence, high-performance computing and hyperscale data centers accelerates, new projects are increasingly challenged by three critical concerns: pressure on local power grids, carbon intensity and water consumption. Nixxy and Tachyon 9 believe Nakota has been designed from the ground up to address those challenges rather than work around them," the company said.
Tachyon9 and Nixxy Sign Agreement with Nidar, $156M Annual Revenue
Tachyon9 Corporation and Nixxy announced the execution of an offtake agreement with Nidar Infrastructure Limited, the parent company and majority shareholder of Yotta Data Services, further advancing the strategic partnership announced earlier this week and reinforcing the commercial foundation of the planned Nakota AI Data Campus in North Dakota. Powered by abundant North Dakota natural gas resources, the Nakota Data Campus is designed to deliver up to 1 GW of independent, behind-the-meter power, addressing the single largest constraint facing AI infrastructure development today. The offtake agreement reflects the commercial terms contemplated under the parties' previously announced Memorandum of Understanding and represents a significant milestone toward the development of what is expected to become one of North America's largest purpose-built AI infrastructure campuses. The agreement provides for approximately $156M in annual recurring revenue from the initial 100 MW phase and grants Nidar/Yotta a right of first offer on the remaining campus capacity, supporting a pathway to nearly 1 GW of development and up to $1.5 B in annual revenue potential at full buildout. The agreement reinforces several key strategic objectives: Long-term contracted revenue visibility; A development pathway toward approximately 1 GW of AI data center capacity; Exposure to the accelerating demand for AI and high-performance computing infrastructure; Multiple future revenue streams including: Colocation services; GPU cloud and AI compute services; Carbon capture and sequestration incentives;Energy infrastructure operations.
