Barry Sloane: Second Quarter Profitability Remains Healthy
Commenting on quarterly operating results, Barry Sloane, CEO, said, "Profitability remains healthy with 2Q26 ROAA, ROAE and ROTCE of 1.97%, 13.3%, and 15.7%, respectively. We continue to capture operating leverage with assets up almost 50% year-over-year and 2Q26 operating expenses up just 3.6% over 2Q25 operating expenses, which supported a year-over-year improvement in the efficiency ratio from 60.3% for 2Q25 to 58.4% for 2Q26."

At quarter-end, total assets were $2.89B, up 35% year-over-year, and total deposits were $1.86B, up 92% year-over-year. The company closed its largest-ever rated securitization of $295M during the quarter. The efficiency ratio for the quarter was 62.4%. "We are pleased to report basic and diluted EPS of $0.43 and $0.43 for 1Q26, which reflect increases of 19% and 23% over 1Q25 basic and diluted EPS of $0.36 and $0.35, respectively, " said Barry Sloane, chairman and CEO.
