LENZ Therapeutics Q2 Revenue Reaches $5.49M, Exceeds Expectations
Reports Q2 revenue $5.49M, consensus $2.38M. "We are encouraged by the early refill behavior we are seeing with VIZZ. The majority of ePharmacy patients have purchased multiple monthly packs since launch, and among those patients, our Q4 2025 and Q1 2026 cohorts are tracking to average annualized utilization of five packs per patient. These trends reinforce the value VIZZ is delivering in the real world," said Eef Schimmelpennink, President and Chief Executive Officer of LENZ Therapeutics. "Our focus is now on bringing more consumers into the category and making access as seamless as possible. Through telehealth, eligible consumers can be evaluated online by an independent licensed eye care professional and, if prescribed, receive VIZZ at home. Together with our national 'Tired of Reading Glasses' campaign, telehealth is designed to more readily convert awareness into adoption. While it is still early, the initial indicators are encouraging, and we believe we are building the foundation for sustained growth driven by consumers."

Sharp gains in Energy and Basic Materials helped power S&P 500 to fresh record highs to start the week, despite the continued uncertainty in the Middle East over the weekend, whereby President Trump has flatly rejected the latest proposals from Iran. ExxonMobilwas up by nearly 4% as WTI crude oil remained supported by the Straight of Hormuz shipping passage uncertainty, briefly topping the $100 per barrel mark. Precious Metals group was also very strong, with Silver prices rising for the fifth straight session toward $88 per ounce and Gold topping $4,750 per ounce - Newmont Miningtopped $120 per share in regular trading and extended its gains above $121 afterhours - the highest level in about a month. Communication Services sector buckled as shares of Alphabetfell 3%, though Semiconductors and Memory names remained strong - Nvidiatested record highs above $220 and Micronadded 7% to its meteoric 2026 rise, with a stock now up nearly 180% for the year.In the evening hours, S&P, e-minis and NASDAQ 100 contracts are both up 0.1%. LENZ Therapeutics Submits Marketing Authorization Application for VIZZ
LENZ Therapeutics announced that it has submitted a Marketing Authorization Application, MAA, to the United Kingdom's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, MHRA, for the review and approval of VIZZ 1.44%, the first and only aceclidine-based eye drop for the treatment of presbyopia in adults. "As we advance in the early product launch in the United States, we continue to position VIZZ for broad international expansion which now includes a key regulatory advancement for the over 20 million adults in the United Kingdom affected by age-related blurry near vision. Positive early patient and ECP feedback on VIZZ has been resounding that our product provides a highly effective, once-daily alternative to reading glasses," said Eef Schimmelpennink, President and Chief Executive Officer of LENZ Therapeutics. "On the heels of our recent MAA submission to the European Medicines Agency, our submission to the MHRA is an important step to enable broad commercialization across Europe as we continue to build VIZZ into a global brand."
