QuickLogic Secures Six-Figure Contract for SoC Design

QuickLogic announced a new embedded FPGA Hard IP design win for a programmable system-on-chip, or SoC, targeting battery management, precision motor control, and industrial robotic applications on a 16nm automotive process technology. The six-figure initial contract is expected to generate license revenue over the next six months, with royalty revenue anticipated upon production shipments. The SoC will leverage QuickLogic's proprietary Australis eFPGA IP Generator, enabling a programmable logic fabric optimized for the customer's specific performance, power, and area requirements.

QuickLogic Appoints James Sullivan as New CFO

QuickLogic (QUIK) announced the appointment of James Sullivan as its new Senior Vice President of Finance and CFO, effective October 5. Sullivan replaces Elias Nader, who has resigned effective as of the close of business September 18 to pursue other opportunities. Sullivan most recently served as CFO for Peraso (PRSO) a publicly traded semiconductor company pioneering high-performance mmWave wireless technology, offering chipsets, modules, software and IP.

"As a result, we have narrowed our full-year growth outlook to a range of 70% to 80%.
