Oportun Raises FY26 Revenue Outlook to $935M-$955M
Backs FY26 revenue view $935M-$955M, consensus $942.51M. Raises FY26 adjusted EBITDA view to $160M-$175M from $150M-$165M. The company said, "We have turned the page in Oportun's story and begun writing the next chapter: one focused on accelerating our execution of the mission that has guided this company since its founding. Given our second quarter performance and our outlook for the balance of the year, we are improving our annualized net charge-off range expectation by 20 basis points, and raising our full year Adjusted EBITDA range expectation by 6% at their respective midpoints."

Reports Q2 revenue $233.2M, consensus $230.75M. "I'm pleased with our 2Q results," said Doug Bland, CEO of Oportun. "Disciplined execution, including a return to originations growth, a lower cost of capital and continued expense discipline, enabled us to deliver another quarter of GAAP profitability while outperforming the top end of our guidance ranges for both total revenue and Adjusted EBITDA. Our annualized net charge-off rate also outperformed our guidance range and our 30-plus day delinquency rate, our lowest since 4Q21, reinforces our confidence that credit performance will continue improving during the second half of the year."
Oportun Financial Forms Lending Partnership with Column
Oportun Financial announced a lending partnership with Column to support Oportun's unsecured personal loan program. Column, a nationally chartered bank that provides regulated financial infrastructure for technology companies, will originate unsecured personal loans through the program, and Oportun will provide the platform, including marketing, servicing, and program-support capabilities, subject to Column's oversight and applicable regulatory requirements.
Oportun Financial Appoints Sean Rowles as Chief Risk Officer
Oportun Financial announced the appointment of Sean Rowles as chief risk officer, or CRO, to lead Oportun's risk and credit functions, effective June 17. He will succeed Patrick Kirscht, who has decided to step down after 18 years of leadership at Oportun. Rowles most recently served as CRO and head of operations at Imprint.
