Hot Wheels Launches Global Campaign 'Challenge Accepted'
Hot Wheels announced Challenge Accepted, a global campaign "championing the challenger spirit and the mindset that drives people to take risks, defy expectations and chase their passions," the company said. At the center of the campaign are three global icons who have forged their own paths to success: global music superstar Maluma, the largest automotive content creator in the world and entrepreneur Supercar Blondie, and soccer champion Robert Lewandowski.
Signet Jewelers Appoints New Brand Leaders
Signet Jewelers (SIG) announced two brand leadership appointments that advance the company's Grow Brand Love strategy. Jamie Cygielman has been appointed President of Zales and Banter and Pam Cloud has joined Signet as President of Blue Nile. Most recently, Cygielman served as Global Head of Dolls at Mattel (MAT) and General Manager and President of American Girl. Cygielman will report to Symancyk and lead the next phase of growth for Zales and Banter, building on decades of customer trust while further differentiating the brands and broadening their appeal. Guided by Signet's Grow Brand Love strategy, she will oversee the brands' go-to-market strategies, with a focus on innovation, distinctive customer experiences and deepening relationships with consumers. Cloud brings more than 30 years of luxury retail experience to Blue Nile, including more than 25 years at Tiffany & Co. She served as Senior Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer. Cloud will report to Joan Hilson, Signet's Chief Operating and Financial Officer, to lead Blue Nile's next phase of growth and transformation, advancing its elevated natural diamond-leaning luxury positioning and overseeing its strategy across every customer touchpoint. Cygielman will join Signet effective August 24 and will be based in Dallas. Cloud began her role as President of Blue Nile effective August 10 and will be based in New York City.

Mattel Reports Q2 Revenue of $1.125B
Reports Q2 revenue $1.125B, consensus $1.1B. Ynon Kreiz, Chairman and CEO of Mattel, said: "We continued to execute our multi-year strategy to grow our IP-driven play and family entertainment business in the second quarter with strong growth in Net Sales. Growth has continued in the third quarter, and we expect to achieve our full year 2026 guidance. Our world-class brand portfolio and product offering, driven by our brand-centric operating model and global capabilities, position us well for the second half of the year."
Mattel Appoints Roberto Stanichi as President and Chief Marketing Officer
Mattel announced the promotion of Roberto Stanichi to President, Chief Marketing and Brand Officer. Stanichi oversees Mattel's portfolio of global brands including Hot Wheels, Barbie, Fisher-Price, and UNO, leading brand and business strategy, marketing, consumer insights, and product design. He became Chief Global Brand Officer in 2025.
