Amtech Systems Appoints Guy Shechter as CEO
Amtech Systems announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Guy Shechter as President and Chef Executive Officer, effective August 13, 2026. Mr. Shechter also has been appointed to the Company's Board of Directors. Concurrently, Bob Daigle, who has served on the Company's board since 2021, as Non-Executive Chairman since 2022 and Chief Executive Officer since 2023, will transition to the newly created role of Executive Chairman of the Board. With the appointments announced today, Amtech's Board of Directors now consists of six members, four of whom are independent under Nasdaq listing standards, reinforcing the Company's commitment to best practices in corporate governance and independent oversight. "I am pleased to announce Guy's appointment as Chief Executive Officer and this next phase of Amtech's leadership evolution," said Bob Daigle. "Since joining Amtech earlier this year as President and Chief Operating Officer, Guy has quickly demonstrated the leadership, industry expertise, and strategic vision necessary to lead the Company through its next stage of growth. Amtech Systems Commences Underwritten Public Offering of Common Stock
Amtech Systems announced that it is commencing an underwritten public offering of shares of its common stock. The company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to accelerate growth across its semiconductor packaging and advanced wafer substrate fabrication platforms, accretive merger and acquisition opportunities, working capital and general corporate purposes. Titan Partners, a division of American Capital Partners, is acting as the sole bookrunner for the proposed offering.

Amtech Systems announced the appointment of Guy Shechter as president and COO, effective May 19, 2026, reporting to the CEO of the Company. Shechter previously held leadership positions at Yield Engineering Systems from 2021 to 2026, most recently serving as Senior Vice President & General Manager.
Amtech Q2 Revenue Reaches $20.5M, Up 31% Year-over-Year
Reports Q2 revenue $20.5M vs $15.6M last year. "AI related equipment demand continued to be very strong in the quarter and allowed us to deliver revenue that was up 8% sequentially and 31% year-over-year," commented Mr. Bob Daigle, Chief Executive Officer of Amtech. "Second quarter gross margin improved to 48%, an approximately 300 bps increase from the first quarter and an approximately 1100 bps increase from non-GAAP margins in the second quarter of 2025. These results continue to validate the strong operating leverage created by our initiatives to discontinue low margin product-lines and migrate to a semi-fabless manufacturing model over the past two years. The second quarter of fiscal 2026 marks the tenth consecutive quarter of positive operating cash flow."
