Xos Hub Surpasses 1 GWh of Cumulative Energy Delivered
Xos announced that a single Xos Hub has surpassed one gigawatt-hour of cumulative energy delivered. The company said, "The milestone provides multi-year field evidence of the Hub's durability under continuous, real-world use, the same product strength that is helping Xos grow its energy storage business across new versions and markets. Over the past year, the Company has expanded the Hub to higher capacity, launched the megawatt-scale Power Hub, deepened its utility deployments, and entered the defense market, and durability proven in the field is what makes that expansion credible. Across the deployed fleet, the Hub has operated in a wide range of climates and applications, from Northeast winters to Arizona summers, charging trucks, cars, buses, and autonomous vehicles for uses that span fleet operations and disaster response. The Xos Hub is a mobile, grid-independent system, and a result like this measures what a specification sheet cannot: how the unit holds up delivering energy over years of continuous use, the pairing of sustained output and battery health that determines how a storage asset performs and what it costs to run over its service life."
