Nomad Power Solutions Secures Over $30M in Customer Orders

Nomad Power Solutions announced that it has received more than $30M in customer orders to date through 2026, supported by non-refundable customer deposits totaling about $14M. In response to growing demand for its mobile power solutions, the company plans to expand its manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities to support anticipated demand through 2027. NOMAD is also investing in the development of next-generation transportable battery systems with planned capacities of 4 MWh and 8 MWh, expanding upon its existing 1 MW / 2 MWh Traveler model. The company expects to introduce the larger capacity systems in 2027.

NOMAD Power Appoints GEL as Sales Representative in Canada

NOMAD Power Solutions, through its wholly owned subsidiary, NOMAD Transportable Power Systems, announced the appointment of Global Environmental Liquid, GEL, as its sales representative in Canada. Under the agreement, GEL will identify and develop opportunities for NOMAD's transportable battery energy storage systems among Canadian utilities, mining and resource companies, and other industrial customers.

Nomad Power Solutions Achieves UL 9540 Certification for 1MW Battery Storage System

Nomad Power Solutions, through its operating subsidiary Nomad Transportable Power Systems, announced that its 1MW/2MWh Traveler battery energy storage system has achieved UL 9540 certification. The certified transportable system has been delivered to Missanabie Cree First Nation in Northern Ontario, where it will support emergency preparedness and provide rapidly deployable power for critical community infrastructure. Unlike conventional stationary battery storage installations, Nomad's systems are designed to be moved between locations as customer needs change. A single system can be relocated to support multiple sites, seasonal requirements and emergency-response needs. The system can respond to changes in electrical load in approximately 8 milliseconds, supporting critical facilities where continuity of power is essential. UL 9540 certification confirms that the system has been evaluated against applicable safety requirements for energy storage systems and equipment. The platform can support emergency resilience, utility peak-shaving, temporary infrastructure, renewable-energy integration and backup power for critical facilities. Missanabie Cree First Nation experiences recurring spring flooding that can threaten critical infrastructure. The community selected Nomad's transportable storage technology as part of its emergency-preparedness strategy.
