MindWalk Signs Multi-Year Agreement with Teva
MindWalk Holdings announced a multi-year agreement with Teva Pharmaceuticals Australia to deploy ReefIQ, MindWalk's HYFT-powered biological context layer with specified LensAI analytical capabilities, in support of a defined scope of antibody-discovery work. "We are pleased to continue our collaboration with Teva Australia through this defined deployment," said Jennifer Bath, PhD, President and Chief Executive Officer of MindWalk."Across the industry, the constraint in antibody discovery is no longer generating data. It is connecting and governing that data and carrying what a program team learns to the next phase. That is exactly what ReefIQ was built to do for companies."
MindWalk Chief Business Officer Thomas Lynch Departs
MindWalk announced that Thomas Lynch has departed the company and ceased to serve as Chief Business Officer, effective October 16. MindWalk's commercial activity continues on plan. LensAI, the company's reasoning and application layer, is in contracted, recurring arrangements with life sciences customers, running on ReefIQ, the biological data substrate powered by HYFT Technology. The commercial and business development team continues to report to the CEO.
MindWalk Releases White Paper Showing LensAI 43% Cost Reduction
MindWalk Holdings published a white paper showing that its LensAI immunogenicity screening ran across an entire public antibody database of 890,634 sequences in 4 hours and 41 minutes on Amazon EC2 Hpc8a instances powered by 5th Gen AMD EPYC processors, delivering up to 43% lower cost per sequence than a comparable Intel configuration running identical code. "Every antibody drug carries a question: will the patient's own immune system attack it," said Dr. Jennifer Bath, President and Chief Executive Officer of MindWalk. "Answering that question late is one of the most expensive failures in this industry. Answering it early has been impractical, because AI now designs candidates far faster than anyone could screen them. This work shows LensAI screening all of them. Candidate selection and safety assessment are no longer the bottleneck. It also lowers what it costs us to deliver at this scale, so we can take on more volume without our costs rising in step with it."
MindWalk Appoints Three Senior Leaders to Strengthen Boston Team
MindWalk announced three senior appointments that strengthen its Boston-based development leadership as the Company's pipeline advances toward preclinical efficacy studies. Zachary Maben, PhD, joins as Director, Antigen Discovery & Protein Engineering, from Arbor Biotechnologies. Joanne Lim, PhD, joins as Director, Preclinical Development, from Orum Therapeutics. Shuji Sato, PhD, Vice President, Innovative Solutions, a MindWalk veteran.
MindWalk Appoints Kim Remizowski as Independent Director
MindWalk announced the appointment of Kim Remizowski to its Board of Directors as an independent director. Remizowski will serve on the Audit Committee and the Compensation, Nomination and Governance Committee. The Board has determined that he qualifies as an independent director under Nasdaq listing rules and as an audit committee financial expert under applicable SEC rules. With this appointment, the Board comprises four directors, three of whom are independent. Remizowski most recently served as Director, Private Equity at Vistra.
