Evaxion Announces New Biomarker Data for EVX-01
Evaxion announces new biomarker data from its phase 2 trial with personalized cancer vaccine EVX-01 in patients with advanced melanoma. The data demonstrate potent EVX-01 induced immune responses and further underline the strong predictive performance of Evaxion's AI-Immunology platform. It will be presented in both an oral and a poster session at the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer 2026 Annual Meeting, taking place in Phoenix, Arizona. The new data adds to EVX-01's already comprehensive data package which includes three-year clinical response and immune data presented at the European Society for Medical Oncology Congress 2026 held in October. These data showed 89% vaccine target precision and sustained T-cell and clinical responses at three-year follow-up in the phase 2 trial. New findings include detection of EVX-01 induced neoantigen-specific T-cells directly ex vivo, which is a clear testament to the magnitude of the vaccine-induced immune responses. Ex vivo responses were dominated by CD4+ T-cells, while CD8+ T-cell responses were observed in half of patients. The data also documents a significant association (pless than0.001) between predictions by AI-Immunology and actual T-cell responses, confirming the strong predictive performance of the platform. Essentially, the platform predicts, with very high precision, which neoantigens will illicit the strongest immune responses allowing for selection of these as optimal vaccine targets.
Evaxion Announces Three-Year Clinical Data for Personalized Cancer Vaccine EVX-01
Evaxion announced new three-year immune and clinical outcome data for personalized cancer vaccine EVX-01 in patients with advanced melanoma. The data demonstrates EVX-01 inducing an immune response in all patients, with 89% of its personalised vaccine antigen targets inducing a tumor-specific immune response in treated patients. Further, sustained T-cell responses were observed, with preserved magnitude and breadth of the specific immune response, during the third year of the phase 2 trial in which EVX-01 was administered as monotherapy. The new data also shows that all patients maintained their clinical response observed at two-year follow-up with no tumor progression observed through the third year of EVX-01 treatment alone. The data will be presented in a poster presentation at the European Society for Medical Oncology, or ESMO, Congress 2026 held in Madrid, Spain, tomorrow. The new findings supplement the unprecedented two-year data presented at ESMO in 2025, showing a 75% Objective Response Rate with 25% of patients obtaining a complete response. In addition to promising response rates, the two-year data from the trial also showed a durable clinical benefit, with 92% of patients still responding at two years of follow-up and no relapses observed. Overall, 54% of patients had a deepened response following initiation of EVX-01 treatment, improving from stable disease or partial response to partial or complete response. Tumor reduction was observed in 15 out of the 16 patients enrolled in the trial. EVX-01 induced an immune response in all patients, with 86% of the vaccine neoantigens generating potent specific T-cell responses as measured at the two-year follow-up. Analyses of additional samples collected during the one-year extension phase further increased this neoantigen hit-rate to 89%. Evaxion maintains a cash runway extending well into the second half of 2027.
Evaxion Announces Three-Year Clinical Data for Personalized Cancer Vaccine EVX-01
Evaxion announced new three-year clinical outcome data for personalized cancer vaccine EVX-01 in patients with advanced melanoma. All patients at three-year follow-up in the phase 2 trial maintained the clinical responses observed at two-year follow-up, with no tumor progression observed. In the third year of treatment, patients received EVX-01 as stand-alone therapy. The data, coupled with new immune data, will be presented in a poster session at the European Society for Medical Oncology, or ESMO, Congress 2026 to be held in Madrid, Spain, from October 23-27.
Evaxion to Present New Immune Data for EVX-01 at 2026 SITC Annual Meeting
Evaxion will present new immune data for AI-designed personalized cancer vaccine EVX-01 at the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer, SITC, 2026 Annual Meeting, taking place in Phoenix, Arizona, November 4-8, 2026. The new data will reflect the systemic immunomodulatory effects of EVX-01 plus pembrolizumab beyond vaccine-specific T-cell responses using comprehensive immune profiling. The new immune data stems from the phase 2 trial investigating EVX-01 in combination with MSD's anti-PD-1 therapy, KEYTRUDA in patients with advanced melanoma. The complete three-year clinical data from the phase 2 trial will be presented at the European Society for Medical Oncology 2026 congress on October 24, 2026. Two-year data demonstrated an Objective Response Rate, ORR, of 75% as 12 out of 16 patients had objective clinical responses, with four patients obtaining a complete response. Additionally, a durable clinical benefit was observed as 92% of patients were still responding at two years follow-up and no relapses were observed. In the third year, patients received EVX-01 as stand-alone therapy, meaning the data will offer insight into the vaccine's effect also when not administered in combination with anti-PD-1 therapy. Further, the data may also provide additional insights into potentially enhanced treatment effects and durability of the EVX-01-induced immune response.
Evaxion to Present Three-Year Clinical Data for EVX-01 at ESMO Congress
Evaxion will present three-year clinical efficacy data from its phase 2 trial with personalized cancer vaccine candidate EVX-01 at the European Society for Medical Oncology, or ESMO, Congress 2026 to be held in Madrid, Spain, from October 23-27. The data stems from a one-year extension of the phase 2 trial evaluating EVX-01 in patients with advanced melanoma. The three-year data will add to already convincing results from the phase 2 trial. The two-year data demonstrated an objective response rate of 75% as 12 out of 16 patients had objective clinical responses, with four patients obtaining a complete response. Additionally, a durable clinical benefit was observed as 92% of patients were still responding at two years follow-up and no relapses were observed. In total, 54% of patients had a deepened response during treatment, improving from stable disease or partial response to partial or complete response. Tumor reduction was observed in 15 out of the 16 patients enrolled in the trial. In the trial, EVX-01 induced an immune response in all patients, with 86% of the targeted neoantigens generating potent specific T-cell responses. The phase 2 trial investigated EVX-01 in patients with advanced melanoma. Each patient enrolled in the trial received a unique vaccine designed and manufactured based on their individual biology. In the first two-years, patients received EVX-01 in combination with anti-PD-1 therapy, Keytruda. In the third year, a subset of patients received EVX-01 as stand-alone therapy.
