AIM ImmunoTech Granted New Patent for Cancer Treatment

AIM ImmunoTech announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has granted a patent covering the use of the company's drug Ampligen in combination with the PD-1 checkpoint inhibitor pembrolizumab for the treatment of cancer. This newly issued U.S. patent expires December 20, 2039. Ampligen is a wide-spectrum Toll-like receptor 3 agonist, among other biological effects, and has been investigated for the treatment of various cancers, among other conditions. The Company has been issued multiple patents, and has filed multiple additional patent applications, directed to the use of Ampligen for cancer treatment.

AIM ImmunoTech Issues 7.52M Shares at $3.25 Each

AIM ImmunoTech announced that it has entered into definitive agreements for a registered direct offering priced at-the-market under NYSE Rules of an aggregate of 7.52M shares of common stock at a purchase price of 3.25c per share. The gross proceeds to the company from the offering are expected to be approximately $2.4M, before deducting placement agent commissions and other offering expenses. In addition, in a concurrent private placement, the company will issue and sell unregistered Series I warrants to purchase up to 15.04M shares of common stock. The offering is expected to close on or about May 21, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. is acting as the exclusive placement agent for the offering.

AIM ImmunoTech Accelerates Pancreatic Cancer Program Progress

AIM ImmunoTech highlighted accelerating momentum in its pancreatic cancer program, underscored by Phase 3 trial planning underway, Phase 2 clinical signals, and a strengthening global regulatory and intellectual property position.
