Eco Wave Power Advances 1 MW Wave Energy Project in Portugal
Eco Wave Power Global announced continued progress on its first megawatt-scale wave energy project in Porto, Portugal, following the official commencement by APDL - Administracao dos Portos do Douro, Leixoes e Viana do Castelo - of rehabilitation works at the Barra do Douro breakwater. The rehabilitation works follow storm-related damage to the breakwater and are being carried out by APDL as part of its responsibility for the maintenance and reinforcement of the port infrastructure. The commencement of the works represents an important development for Eco Wave Power's planned 1 MW wave energy installation. Eco Wave Power has received updates from APDL confirming that the rehabilitation works are underway and progressing at the project site, including works affecting the coastal infrastructure designated for the installation of Eco Wave Power's wave energy technology. As the rehabilitation progresses, Eco Wave Power Founder and Chief Executive Officer Inna Braverman will travel to Porto in mid-August 2026 for an official meeting with APDL. The meeting is expected to focus on establishing the anticipated completion timeline for the breakwater rehabilitation works and coordinating the point at which Eco Wave Power will be able to access the relevant infrastructure and proceed with the installation phase of its 1 MW wave energy project. In addition, APDL has agreed to provide Eco Wave Power with a formal letter of support in connection with the Company's request to the relevant Portuguese authorities for an extension of the grid-connection deadline applicable to the first 1 MW phase of the project. The requested extension is intended to align the project's regulatory timetable with the completion of APDL's infrastructure rehabilitation works and the subsequent installation of Eco Wave Power's equipment.
Eco Wave Power Prices 400,000 ADS at $10 Each
Eco Wave Power announced the pricing of its registered direct offering with a single strategic institutional investor. The Offering consists of 400,000 American Depositary Shares at an offering price of $10.00 per ADS, representing a 10.7% premium to the last Nasdaq closing price. Each ADS represents eight common shares of the Company. Gross proceeds from the Offering are expected to be $4M, before deducting placement agent fees and offering expenses. In addition, the investor will receive warrants to purchase 300,000 ADSs. The warrants will have an exercise price of $12.00 per ADS, representing a 32.9% premium to the last Nasdaq closing price, will be exercisable immediately upon issuance and will expire on the third anniversary of the original issuance date. Maxim Group LLC is acting as the sole placement agent for the Offering. Eco Wave Power currently intends to use the net proceeds from the Offering to advance its global expansion and further develop its position as the energy layer for AI infrastructure. Offering is expected to close on or about June 26.
Eco Wave Power Technology Featured Again in Nvidia GTC 2026
Eco Wave Power (WAVE) announced that its technology was featured for the second time in an Nvidia (NVDA) GTC keynote presentation, this time during Nvidia Founder and CEO Jensen Huang's GTC Taipei 2026 keynote, highlighting the growing role of digital twins and simulation technologies in the optimization of real-world infrastructure. The latest appearance follows Eco Wave Power's inclusion in Nvidia's GTC San Jose keynote presentation in March 2026, marking the second time within approximately three months that Eco Wave Power's technology has been showcased during a flagship Nvidia GTC keynote. During the GTC Taipei keynote, Eco Wave Power's technology appeared as part of Nvidia's showcase of digital twin, simulation, and physical infrastructure applications. The presentation included a digital representation of Eco Wave Power's wave energy technology displaying operational wave and system parameters and demonstrating how advanced simulation technologies can support the optimization of energy infrastructure. The appearance comes as Eco Wave Power continues to advance the development of its wave energy project in Taiwan. Earlier this year, the Company's local partner, I-Ke International Ocean Energy Co., secured the land use agreement for Eco Wave Power's planned pilot installation at Suao Port, Taiwan, representing a key milestone toward deployment of the Company's technology in one of Asia's most important technology and industrial markets. Taiwan plays a central role in the global technology and semiconductor ecosystem and is increasingly at the forefront of AI infrastructure development. Eco Wave Power believes that intelligent renewable energy technologies, supported by digital twins, predictive analytics, and AI-based optimization tools, can play an important role in helping address the growing electricity demands associated with the expansion of AI infrastructure.
Eco Wave Power receives final permit for Wave Energy Project
Eco Wave Power announces it has received the final Nationwide Permit, NWP, from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for its wave energy project at AltaSea's premises at the Port of Los Angeles. This milestone marks a significant step forward in the development of Eco Wave Power's pioneering wave energy project, which is set to become the first onshore wave energy installation in the United States. The permit, issued under NWP 52 for Water-Based Renewable Energy Generation Pilot Projects, authorizes Eco Wave Power to install eight wave energy floaters on the piles of an existing concrete wharf structure on the east side of Municipal Pier One.
Eco Wave Power signs agreement for sale of wave energy generation unit with I-Ke
Eco Wave Power announced that it signed an agreement for the sale of the first wave energy generation unit with I-Ke International Ocean Energy Co., a subsidiary of Lian Tat Company, a maritime engineering company, with the purpose of bringing Eco Wave Power's wave energy technology to Taiwan. According to the terms of the agreement, I-Ke will be providing the full financing for the 100KW pilot project, by buying a turnkey conversion unit from Eco Wave Power. This conversion unit for the 100KW wave energy power station includes all the hydraulic and electric conversion parts, coupled with the smart control and automation system. I-Ke has identified the location for the first pilot station of 100KW installed capacity on the east coast of Taiwan (along with an additional 83 potentially suitable sites) and it is responsible for obtaining permits, land use consents and any licensing and approvals necessary to complete the installation of the planned wave energy projects. Moreover, I-Ke will locally produce the floaters, hydraulic cylinders and all other components of the technology, which are located on the seaside of the marine structure. I-Ke believes this will position Taiwan as the hub for later stage expansion into other Asia Pacific regions. This newly signed agreement, which is based on a memorandum of understanding that was signed between Lian Tat and Eco Wave Power in June 2023, will leverage Eco Wave Power's wave energy conversion technology, which has been deployed in several locations worldwide, to maximize energy extraction and optimize the project's performance for the Taiwanese coastline. According to a press statement made by I-Ke, the first stage of the project will be the development of a 20 MW wave energy power station in Taiwan, beginning with a 100KW pilot and expanding in stages to a total targeted installed commercial capacity of 400 MW.
