374Water Outlines EPA PFAS Regulations Driving Demand
374Water outlined how implementation of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's, EPA, PFAS drinking water regulations is expected to drive demand for the permanent destruction of spent granular activated carbon, GAC, and ion exchange, IX, media, and how the Company is positioning its AirSCWO technology and Waste Destruction Services to meet that demand. "The drinking water rule defines when utilities must remove PFAS. It doesn't answer what happens to the PFAS once it's captured," said Brad Meyers, COO of 374Water. "Every GAC and IX system that comes online between now and 2029 becomes a recurring source of PFAS-laden media. Our job is to give utilities and their service providers a permanent, verifiable endpoint - destruction, not storage or transfer. Because AirSCWO can process solids, we can take the spent carbon and resin itself, not just liquid concentrates, and we are already building that model in Orlando."
374Water Completes Mobile AirSCWO Contract in St. Cloud, Minnesota
374Water announced the completion of its mobile AirSCWO contract in St. Cloud, Minnesota, MN. This concludes a four-phase, multi-feedstock campaign. The Company is preparing for final revenue milestones and is awaiting performance data and expects to release results in the coming weeks. The St. Cloud deployment was conducted under a $600,000 Waste Destruction Services contract with the City of St. Cloud, in partnership with Barr Engineering. The campaign is part of the State of Minnesota's evaluation of 374Water's AirSCWO technology for the destruction of PFAS-laden wastes, supported by the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources and the State's Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund.
374Water Outlines Corporate Strategy to Scale AirSCWO Technology
374Water outlined its corporate strategy to grow the business and scale its AirSCWO technology to build long-term value. "Our leadership extends well beyond the equipment itself," said Raj Melkote, CTO of 374Water. "Every waste stream we process generates data and know-how about how materials behave under supercritical conditions, and the art of achieving the high PFAS destruction efficiencies we've become known for. The more we operate, the more we learn. This leads to better systems, better operations, and better results for our customers."
