Quest Q4 Revenue at $58.9M, Below Consensus
Reports Q4 revenue $58.9M, consensus $61.21M. "The strategic efforts made over the past year to drive operational efficiency across the business are making solid progress, but the business continues to navigate a difficult macroeconomic environment," said Dan Friedberg, Chairman of the Board. "We are on much more solid footing and Quest is a fundamentally stronger business focused on delivering improved results in 2026." "While our financial performance in the fourth quarter continued to be challenged by lower volumes from our large industrial customers, strategic efforts made over the past year to drive operational efficiency across the business are delivering improved performance, and we remain confident that we are taking the right measures to position the business for a meaningful inflection when conditions normalize," said Perry Moss, CEO. "We are controlling what we can control and are taking significant and comprehensive action across every business function. We continue to bring this same disciplined approach to our new sales and share of wallet initiatives. Recent new contract wins are ramping as expected, and we are seeing encouraging traction with share-of-wallet initiatives that are delivering incremental organic growth. Altogether, we see these initiatives supporting an improved outlook for 2026."

"The impact of the strategic and proactive actions we are taking to address critical issues and to drive efficiencies across the operations are leading to improvements in the business and the early benefits of these activities can be seen in the third quarter," said Dan M. Friedberg, Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors. "We are on more solid footing as a result of targeted cost actions and cash generation efforts, and our results are consistent with our stated expectation for an improved trajectory of the performance of the business. Quest Resource reports Q2 adjusted EPS (4c), consensus 2c
Reports Q2 revenue $59.54M, consensus $72.56M. The company said, "We experienced a host of issues last year. These include a number of operational issues, an industrial sector slowdown, and client attrition; as well as challenges related to adding a record number of new clients and systems integration. We took decisive, well-documented actions to address these issues. These include reductions and additions to the management team, making cost reductions, selling an underperforming business line, and resetting financial covenants with our lenders. Since then, we have launched an intensive set of initiatives focused on driving short-term improvements and long-term operating and financial performance."
Quest Resource reports Q1 EPS (13c), consensus (5c)
Reports Q1 revenue $68.4M, consensus $72.04M. "First quarter financial results were in-line with our expectations and indicative of the temporary increase in costs and other factors we described last quarter, but not yet reflective of the performance-focused actions we are developing and implementing to improve operating efficiencies and financial performance. Through the decisive actions of our team, we were able to successfully complete a reduction in staffing levels and the sale of a non-core portion of our RWS business, both of which we expect will drive profitability improvements and more consistency in future financial results. We are committed to generating cash, increasing profitability and paying down debt, and we believe we are on course to deliver ongoing improvements going forward," said Dan Friedberg, Chairman of the company's Board of Directors.
Quest Resource finalizes sale of non-core portion of RWS business
Quest Resource Holding Corporation announced the sale of its tenant-direct portion of the RWS commercial property management business. "We have successfully completed the sale of a portion of RWS, which was a non-core line of business and a small part of our overall portfolio. The sale enables us to increase our focus on our core portfolio of clients in diverse industries, which offer the greatest source of growth and financial returns. Financially, this sale eliminates business that contributed to inconsistent financial performance without contributing profits, and it provides cash that can be used to pay down debt," said Perry W. Moss, President and Chief Executive Officer of Quest. The company agreed to sell the client contracts to Lincoln Waste Solutions, a part of Reconomy, a leading international specialist in the circular economy. The total consideration for the sale was approximately $5M in cash paid at closing, plus additional amounts payable to the seller, not to exceed $6.5M in aggregate, that may be earned based on future performance and a one-time payment of an acquired accounts receivable remittance amount, in each case subject to adjustment as set forth in the purchase agreement. The transaction closed on March 31, 2025.
