Newegg's Q2 Performance Affected by Macroeconomic Environment
Newegg CEO Anthony Chow announced, "Our second quarter continued to play out against a challenging macroeconomic environment, with significant memory and flash supply constraints and industry-wide pricing pressure that we flagged last quarter continuing to weigh on top-line performance. Even in this environment, our early procurement of constrained categories continued to pay off this quarter. We maintained availability, captured bundling opportunities across our core PC categories, and saw continued strength in AI-related products. The quarter was also a milestone period for our brand and community initiatives as we celebrate Newegg's 25th anniversary, highlighted by our largest-ever presence at COMPUTEX 2026, the debut of Newegg Simulator Builder, and our 12th annual FantasTech Sale, which grew 11% year-over-year."
Newegg Launches Full Conversational AI Shopping Experience
Newegg unveiled a full conversational AI shopping experience available at newegg.com/ai, letting shoppers move from idea to cart in one place. Through this new AI mode, customers can describe what they're looking for in plain language and refine through conversation - asking the assistant to swap a part, adjust the shopping budget, or prioritize a different specification, without restarting the search. The assistant carries that context, surfacing the right products as the conversation develops. Items added to the cart remain accessible from a side panel within the experience, allowing customers to review their build and check out without ever leaving the conversation. Throughout, the assistant draws from Newegg's live catalog, including current pricing, real-time inventory, Shell Shocker deals, OpenBox listings, and Combos, and is planned to integrate directly with Newegg's proprietary build tools such as PC Builder and PC Upgrade.

Newegg CEO: First Quarter Gross Profit and Net Income Improved
Newegg Chief Executive Officer Anthony Chow announced, "Our first quarter played out against a backdrop of significant memory supply constraints and industry-wide pricing pressure. In this environment, we placed greater emphasis on pricing discipline and margin management. While this contributed to year-over-year declines on the top line, it supported improvement across our key profitability metrics, including gross profit, net income, and adjusted EBITDA. Our disciplined inventory positioning, including early procurement of constrained categories, has continued to serve us well, allowing us to maintain availability and capture bundling opportunities across our core PC categories. We also made meaningful progress on our community and brand initiatives, including the public opening of Newegg Gamer Zone, partnerships with vendors, schools, and universities, and an expanded presence in competitive gaming. The expansion of our Trade-In Program to include desktop memory further extends our commitment to builders and the enthusiast community."
