Everspin Partners with Teledyne to Accelerate MRAM Adoption
Everspin Technologies (MRAM) and Teledyne HiRel Semiconductors, a business unit of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (TDY, announced a strategic partnership to accelerate adoption of Everspin's MRAM in aerospace, defense and other demanding systems. This collaboration will begin with the 256Mb PERSYST spin-transfer torque MRAM, or STT-MRAM, a non-volatile memory that combines RAM-like speed with the ability to retain data through power loss, system resets and unexpected interruptions. Through the new partnership, Teledyne HiRel will initially offer Everspin's 256Mb PERSYST STT-MRAM as part of its memory products portfolio for military and aerospace customers, with target applications including avionics, VPX and single-board computer platforms, radar and electronic warfare payloads, satellite electronics, autonomous systems and other next-generation electronic solutions. The agreement also covers other PERSYST STT-MRAM products, including 64Mb and 128Mb options, giving customers additional density choices as program requirements vary. PERSYST MRAM products will ship from Teledyne HiRel Semiconductors' facility in Milpitas, California, with customer availability anticipated in the Q4.

Everspin and MaxLinear Sign MOU to Evaluate Next-Gen Memory Architectures
Everspin Technologies and MaxLinear announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding, MOU, to evaluate next-generation memory architectures designed to improve efficiency and performance in AI servers. AI models and inference workloads continue to grow while server architectures are under pressure to support larger data sets, expanding key-value caches and increased data movement across systems. The MOU establishes a framework for the companies to evaluate the use of Everspin's persistent, low-latency MRAM technology with MaxLinear's storage compression, encryption and hardware acceleration platform.
Astro Digital Selects Everspin's 64Mb STT-MRAM for Satellite Mission
Everspin Technologies announced that Astro Digital has selected Everspin's PERSYST 64Mb STT-MRAM for use on an upcoming Raven bus geosynchronous Earth orbit, GEO, satellite mission. Astro Digital will use Everspin's EM064LXAQDG13IS1T 64Mb STT-MRAM as the primary fail-safe memory for the system boot process on its Raven bus. In satellite systems, boot memory stores the essential code needed to initialize spacecraft electronics and support system recovery. For this application, persistent MRAM provides non-volatile memory that can retain critical boot information without power and provide fast access during startup or recovery. "For this Raven bus application, Everspin's 64Mb STT-MRAM was selected to support primary fail-safe memory for the system boot process," said Billy Wahng, chief technology officer of Astro Digital. "Its non-volatility, endurance and fast access align with the requirements we evaluate for critical spacecraft functions in GEO satellite systems."
