Leifras Secures New Contract with Chiba City to Manage 57 Community Club Activities
Leifras announced that, in April, it was awarded a new contract by Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, to provide management and operational services for weekend community club activities at municipal junior high schools in Hanamigawa and Mihama wards. Under the contract, Leifras has begun providing integrated management support for 57 club activities across 19 public junior high schools in the city. The contract represents the company's first contract in Chiba City and marks an important milestone in its growth strategy as Japan enters the national government's "Reform Implementation Period" for school club activities. With approximately 9,800 junior high schools and 128,000 club activities nationwide, the Company estimates the potential market size to be approximately JPY500 billion. The Japanese government has announced plans to transition 30.4% of weekend school club activities, or 38,954 clubs, to community-based and private-sector operations during the current fiscal year, indicating continued expansion of the market.
Leifras Appoints Forvis Mazars Japan as New Audit Firm
Leifras announced that its audit and supervisory committee and board of directors, at meetings held on July 13, 2026 and August 14, 2026, respectively, approved the appointment of Forvis Mazars Japan Audit LLC as its new independent registered public accounting firm, to be effective following completion of review of the company's financial information for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 31, 2026 by the company's current independent registered public accounting firm. The appointment marks the commencement of a phased transition toward a unified audit framework across Japan and the United States, strengthening the company's corporate governance and operational efficiency while supporting its previously announced potential dual listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Leifras Awarded Itoshima City Junior High School Club Activities Outsourcing Contract
Leifras announced that it was awarded the Itoshima City Junior High School Club Activities Regional Expansion and Other Operational Services Outsourcing Contract by Itoshima City. Pursuant to the Contract, Leifras has initiated comprehensive weekend club activity instruction, operational management, and strategic support for the transition of school club activities to local communities across all six public junior high schools within the city. This collaboration represents an initiative by the company to establish sustainable operational frameworks for local governments during Japan's ongoing national "Reform Execution Period" for school club activities.
Leifras Signs Outsourcing Agreement with HR Produce
Leifras announced that, in June 2026, it entered into an outsourcing agreement with HR Produce Co., a human resources and organizational consulting firm specializing in the childcare sector, to promote Leifras' sports schools and proprietary non-cognitive skill assessment system, Milabo. By leveraging HR Produce's extensive childcare network of over three thousand corporate entities and over ten thousand facilities, the alliance marks an important step in Leifras' strategy to expand its presence in Japan's preschool market, while creating new revenue growth opportunities. Pursuant to the Agreement, HR Produce agrees to provide information about Leifras' sports school service and Milabo measurement service to corporations and daycare centers with which HR Produce has a partnership. Through the alliance, Leifras intends to leverage HR Produce's network to deploy Leifras' Milabo system and comprehensive multi-sport school programs across childcare facilities nationwide. The partnership is also designed to help address key management issues facing the childcare industry while solidifying Leifras' presence in the strategically critical preschool consumer market.
Leifras Enters Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement with Ando Juku
Leifras announced that it had entered into a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Ando Juku. This Agreement focuses on revitalizing local education by combining Leifras' expertise in developing non-cognitive skills through sports with Ando Juku's educational platform and local community presence, aiming to enhance students' non-cognitive skills, such as self-esteem, cooperativeness, and grit. Through this partnership, the two companies expect to establish a sustainable infrastructure for regional education via co-hosted events and a mutual customer referral system.
