Genasys Receives $5M Order from U.S. Army
Genasys announced it has received a $5M order from the U.S. Army for Genasys Acoustics 360XT mobile emergency warning systems. The systems will support communications, force protection, and emergency notification needs at military bases and forward operating sites throughout the U.S. Central Command, CENTCOM, area of operations. With this order, Genasys has received more than $18M in mobile mass notification orders from the U.S. Army over the last nine years.
Genasys Secures $1.5M Acoustic Device Orders
Genasys announced domestic and overseas Long Range Acoustic Device and Acoustics orders totaling $1.5M. The long-range voice broadcast and mass notification systems will be deployed in the law enforcement, emergency warning, and energy sectors.
Genasys Secures Emergency Management Contract with Butte County, California
Genasys announced that Butte County, California has selected Genasys Protect to support its emergency preparedness, evacuation planning, public warning, and incident management operations. The addition of Butte County expands Genasys' presence across many of the nation's most wildfire-impacted areas. Genasys Protect now supports first responders and emergency management agencies serving jurisdictions that have collectively experienced some of the most devastating wildfire disasters in modern U.S. history, including Butte, Los Angeles, Siskiyou, Ventura, Napa, Lake, San Diego, and Maui counties.
Genasys Secures $8.5M Order from National Guard
Genasys announced a new follow-on order from the National Guard for mobile Long Range Acoustic Device, LRAD, kits. The National Guard has ordered a total of $8.5M in LRAD communication systems and accessories to date, with further orders expected. "Long Range Acoustic Devices are part of National Guard inventories in every state and territory," said Richard Danforth, Chief Executive Officer of Genasys. "Mobile LRAD kits provide Guard units with critical communication and deescalation capabilities for natural disasters, civil and national emergencies, and overseas military operations. Our proprietary long range communication systems significantly enhance the Guard's ability to conduct its mission and help keep civilians out of harm's way when units are deployed during domestic and international actions."
Genasys Secures $3M LRAD Orders
Genasys announced new and follow-on Long Range Acoustic Device, LRAD, orders totaling $3M from the United States and other countries. Domestic and international department, agency, and enterprise customers are slated to deploy the LRADs in military, law enforcement, critical infrastructure protection, and wildlife preservation applications. "Increasing geopolitical unrest and regional conflicts are driving LRAD interest and orders from defense departments and police agencies throughout the world," said Genasys Chief Executive Officer, Richard Danforth. "Military and law enforcement demand for LRAD systems remains high in light of higher global defense, homeland security, and public safety budgets."
