U.S. Stock Futures Weaker, Nasdaq Down 0.63%
Stock futures are pointing to a weaker open as the market comes off a losing week for all three major indexes, with technology stocks particularly pressured by the recent rise in Treasury yields.A catalyst this week is Nvidia's earnings on Wednesday. Nvidia shares have already declined for five consecutive sessions, while some of its customers have reportedly been told that AI server prices could rise by more than 15% because of higher memory costs.The Federal Reserve is another major focus, with Fed Chair Kevin Warsh scheduled to speak Friday at the Jackson Hole symposium. Investors will be looking for clues about the Fed's rate path after recent inflation data came in relatively benign, but the labor market has weakened. At the same time, the bond market has become a source of concern. The 30-year Treasury yield reached roughly 5.34% last week, its highest level in about 19 years, putting additional pressure on growth stocks. The week's economic calendar also includes July PCE inflation data on Wednesday.The U.S. is preparing new economic sanctions targeting Iran's trade partners, with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent expected to provide details. Oil prices have pulled back despite the escalating tensions. Gogoro CFO Bruce Aitken to Retire on September 1
Gogoro announced that Bruce Aitken will retire from his position as CFO of the company, effective September 1. Bruce Aitken has served as Gogoro's CFO for more than eight years. The company also announced the appointment of Jacky Lee as its principal financial officer, effective August 21.

Company Reports 70% Increase in Operating Cash Inflows to $26.0M in H1 2026
The company said "During the first half of 2026, operating cash inflows increased more than 70% to $26.0M, compared with $15.2M in the same period last year, reflecting continued benefits from organizational restructuring, improved operating efficiency, and disciplined working capital management. Our liquidity position remains strong, supported by disciplined capital allocation, including lower capital expenditures following the completion of battery upgrade initiatives in Q4 2025 and the continued reduction of outstanding debt. As of June 30, 2026, we had cash and cash equivalents of $68.8M, including the $16.7M investment from Gold Sino. This investment was made pursuant to the equity funding commitment of up to NTD$2.5B, or approximately $80M, previously secured by a director of Gogoro. We believe our liquidity provides ample flexibility to support our strategic priorities and future growth."

Anticipates the Gogoro Network battery-swapping business will achieve non-IFRS profitability in 2026, with the hardware business continuing to target non-IFRS profitability in 2028.
