Gelteq and Healthy Extracts Sign Strategic Partnership MOU
Gelteq and Healthy Extracts announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding formalising a strategic partnership designed to accelerate the commercial rollout of next-generation gel-based nutraceutical products. The collaboration builds on Healthy Extracts' prior purchases of Gelteq-formulated products and marks the first phase of a long-term plan to bring Gelteq's proprietary gel delivery technology to large-scale US manufacturing and global distribution. Under the MoU, Healthy Extracts will leverage its established US-based nutritional manufacturing capabilities to produce new gel-based nutraceutical products using Gelteq's proprietary formulations, technical processes, and expertise. The collaboration enables both companies to combine complementary strengths; Gelteq's innovation in gel-delivery science and Healthy Extracts' operational manufacturing excellence and market access. Through this partnership, new gel-based nutraceutical products will be end-to-end manufactured in the United States using Healthy Extracts' in-house capabilities and then distributed across both domestic and international channels. This structure is designed to support rapidly scalable production, strengthen supply-chain reliability, and meet the growing global demand for novel, science-backed delivery formats in the nutrition category. Healthy Extracts will serve as the primary manufacturer, commercial seller, and distribution partner for this range of products, with the opportunity available to white-label finished goods for select customers. Gelteq will provide the required technical transfer to enable manufacturing whilst retaining full ownership of its intellectual property. Both companies will collaborate on marketing initiatives and future product development.
Gelteq Oral Gel Platform Increases CBD Bioavailability by Over 22%
Gelteq announced positive results from a recently completed preclinical study which evaluated medicinal cannabinoids delivery through the Company's proprietary oral gel platform. The findings demonstrate that Gelteq's platform significantly enhances the absorption and bioavailability of cannabidiol compared to an existing FDA approved oil-based product. Despite having a much lower concentration of CBD, Gelteq's formulation achieved greater than 22% increase in bioavailability along with a higher peak exposure. As such, the results demonstrate that our oral gel platform enhances the delivery of lipophilic cannabinoid molecules and delivers more efficient uptake in the body. These results create a clear pathway for a potential expedited market launch of new medicinal cannabis products in Australia via the Special Access Scheme which could position Gelteq for efficient entry into additional global markets.

Gelteq announced that it has entered into a three year sales agreement with Shenzhen Mana Health Management under which Mana will distribute consumer nutritional products within China using Gelteq's proprietary gel formulation. The agreement represents a significant step forward in expanding Gelteq's nutritional product portfolio in China. Under the agreement, Mana will promote, market, and sell a nutritional formulation primarily focused on sugar lowering across China through its multichannel healthcare network. The agreement also includes minimum annual order volumes during its three-year term which Gelteq expects to derive a minimum revenue of approximately USD $1.3 million during the term of the agreement.
Gelteq Announces Preclinical Findings Demonstrating Effectiveness of Gel Platform
Gelteq announced preclinical findings demonstrating the effectiveness, flexibility, and safety profile of its proprietary gel platform. The results address a major challenge in pharmaceutical development and demonstrate that Gelteq's technology can enhance the oral delivery of oil-soluble and poorly soluble drugs. Across two complementary preclinical studies, the results showed a more rapid absorption of an oil soluble compound in Gelteq's gel base compared to an existing FDA approved reference product, with a 300 percent increase in bioavailability across the first hour. High bioavailability in the first hour is critical for rapid onset of action.Further results demonstrated that the oil soluble compound wasn't just more rapidly absorbed in Gelteq's gel base, but the overall absorption was also improved. Over 24 hours, the absorption was improved by more than 20 percent overall compared to an existing FDA approved reference product. These findings further illustrate that Gelteq's gel matrix can support the delivery of lipophilic compounds whilst moderating the need for high levels of emulsifiers. The study results also demonstrate that Gelteq's platform enables controlled movement through the digestive system, targeted release, and effective absorption while maintaining full clearance of both the active pharmaceutical ingredients and the gel material itself. The GI transit evaluation demonstrated that the gel disperses the active ingredient uniformly along the small intestine. This extended distribution behaviour supports improved absorption through both mucoadhesive interactions and the presentation of the drug across a larger intestinal surface area. The studies also showed that the gel can be formulated to allow efficient transit and rapid early absorption of the API. The gel's structural matrix dispersed and cleared effectively to the large intestine, reinforcing the platform's safety and compatibility with oral administration.
