Foresight Autonomous Evaluates Expansion into AI and Cybersecurity Sectors
Foresight Autonomous announced that it is evaluating opportunities to expand its business activities into additional technology sectors, including AI- based technologies and applications, cybersecurity or data centers, including through a possible acquisition. The company said, "Foresight has not set a timetable for the conclusion of its evaluation, nor has it made any decisions related to any potential transaction at this time. Foresight does not intend to comment on its evaluation and review of any potential opportunities until it deems further disclosure as appropriate or necessary. There can be no assurances as to the outcome or timing of such review, or whether any particular transaction may be pursued or consummated."
Foresight Partners with VisionWave for Strategic Cooperation
Foresight Autonomous (FRSX) announced that it has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with VisionWave (VWAV) to jointly advance next-generation autonomous defense and unmanned ground vehicle technologies. The strategic cooperation establishes a framework to integrate Foresight's advanced stereoscopic 3D perception and computer vision technology, utilizing visible-light and infrared cameras and advanced image-processing algorithms, into VisionWave's Varan modular autonomous unmanned ground vehicle platform. The collaboration is designed to advance the development of intelligent autonomous defense systems capable of enhanced environmental perception, object detection, distance measurement and three-dimensional situational awareness, including in challenging weather, poor visibility and low-light operating environments. Under the agreement, Foresight and VisionWave intend to jointly develop an autonomy-enabled VARAN UGV incorporating Foresight's advanced perception technology, combining VisionWave's modular autonomous ground platform with Foresight's sensing and machine-vision capabilities, subject to the negotiation and execution of one or more definitive agreements.
Foresight Enters POC Agreement with Zeda Korea
Foresight Autonomous announced that it entered into a proof-of-concept, or POC, agreement with Zeda Korea, a Korean integrator of specialized road management, bridge inspection, and road safety support equipment. The agreement governs the integration of Foresight's ScaleCam visible-light stereoscopic vision system with Zeda's various applications for danger-zone intrusion detection and alerting in real-time applications. This POC agreement follows the development and commercialization agreement signed in March, which is already underway, with a Japanese manufacturer of smart city, road traffic, and hazard management solutions for similar applications. Under the POC agreement, Foresight is providing Zeda with a concept product of the ScaleCam Visible Light system for a period of approximately three months. The system will be tested in real-world conditions representative of Zeda's road hazard management use cases. The POC agreement establishes a defined path toward commercialization. Upon successful completion of the POC in line with the agreed key performance indicators, the parties intend to enter into a joint development and commercialization agreement during the fourth quarter of 2026 for the serial production version of the system, tailored to Zeda's technical requirements. The commercial framework already agreed in the POC Agreement, which is dependent on entering into a commercialization agreement, includes a non-recurring engineering fee to be finalized based on the required development features, along with binding order quantities in 2027, with potential forecasted revenues of up to $21.5M during the period between 2027 to 2031.
Foresight Signs Agreement with Japanese Firm, Expected Revenue of $10.5M
Foresight Autonomous announced the signing of a final development and commercialization agreement with a Japanese in-vehicle AI device manufacturer and Cornes Technologies for the integration and deployment of Foresight's proprietary ScaleCam stereoscopic 3D perception software into the manufacturer's in-vehicle AI systems. The agreement, which includes a design freeze and transfer to production phase, paving the way to serial production in early 2027, is expected to generate a potential revenue, based on a software licensing model, of up to approximately $10.5M for Foresight between 2027 and 2030. This opportunity is driven by the manufacturer's forecasted demand of approximately 400,000 units under the agreed volume-based recurring licensing model. Under the agreement, Foresight will supply its ScaleCam 3D perception software package.
Foresight Partners with European Car Manufacturer for Proof-of-Concept Development
Foresight Autonomous announced that it has entered into an agreement with a European car manufacturer for a proof-of-concept to validate Foresight's stereo vision artificial intelligence-based solution for off-road driving scenarios. Under the agreement, Foresight will develop and demonstrate a POC system based on its stereo vision technology, to be installed on the car manufacturer's vehicle platform. The system will provide real-time surroundings analysis ahead of the vehicle, assess off-road passability according to the car manufacturer's vehicle parameters, and display visual guidance on safe and unsafe areas, with support for different field types selected by the user. The POC will include live demonstrations in both daylight and low-light conditions at the car manufacturer's facilities. Upon successful completion and validation of first phase, the parties intend to enter into a joint development agreement for a second phase. This next phase will introduce automatic AI -based field classification, localized sub-region evaluation, a three-level classification output and enhanced robustness for broader environmental variability.
