Caribou Reports Q3 Revenue of $1.61M, Exceeds Expectations
Reports Q3 revenue $1.61M, consensus $1.6M. The company said, "Caribou has not set a timeline for the completion of the review of strategic alternatives, does not intend to provide further updates unless and until the Board has approved a course of action, the review process is concluded, or disclosure is otherwise determined to be appropriate or required."
Nasdaq and S&P 500 Hit Record Highs
Retreat in Oil prices and Treasury yields helped support investor sentiment, sending Nasdaq Composite and the S&P 500 to record highs. Utilities was the best performing sector in the index, with traders piling into the beaten down but high-yielding space, betting that the bid in the Treasury market could be sustainable. Consumer Cyclicals - still the worst S&P sector this year - also performed well, with outsized gains of about 3% among discount chains Dollar Treeand Dollar General. Tech was mixed, with losses in semiconductor equipment offset by gains in communication equipment stocks. In software, cybersecurity names were especially impressive as Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, and Fortinetall notched all-time highs. In the opening hour of the evening session, S&P e-minis and Nasdaq 100 contracts are up a decimal. In commodities, WTI Crude Oil had fallen to a one-month low around $87 per barrel on easing supply concerns, though November contract is back around $90 on Tuesday evening.Check out this evening's top movers from around Wall Street, compiled by The Fly.HIGHER AFTER EARNINGS -Neogenup 10.0%Penguin Solutionsup 5.4%ALSO HIGHER -Pluriup 6.1% after equity offeringZIM Integrated Shipping Servicesup 4.3% after positive FY26 pre-announcementDOWN AFTER EARNINGS -Constellation Brandsdown 4.6%Worthington Steeldown 3.7%ALSO LOWER -Caribou Biosciencesdown 35.3% after announcing it would discontinue development activities, explore alternativesFair Isaacdown 0.8% after announcing staff cutsSpaceXdown 1.0% after FT report that the company seeks to raise $40B to purchase Nvidia, up 0.5%) chips
Caribou Biosciences Explores Strategic Alternatives and Workforce Reductions
Caribou Biosciences announced that it is exploring strategic alternatives to maximize stockholder value and plans to discontinue further development activities for its two allogeneic CAR-T cell therapy programs, vispa-cel for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma and CB-011 for the treatment of multiple myeloma. Caribou will implement workforce and cost reductions. The company's board approved initiating a process to evaluate strategic alternatives, including, but not limited to, a merger, acquisition, business combination, or other strategic transactions. Wedbush has been engaged as the company's financial advisor. Caribou has not set a timeline for the completion of review of strategic alternatives. The company plans to discontinue further clinical development activities and implement a "substantial" reduction in workforce, which is expected to be mostly complete in Q4. As of June 30, Caribou had $113.8M in cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities.

Caribou Reports Q2 Revenue of $1.5M, Below Expectations
Reports Q2 revenue $1.5M, consensus $2.25M. "At Caribou, we are redefining what patients and physicians should expect from allogeneic CAR-T cell therapy," said Rachel Haurwitz, president and CEO of Caribou. "The data presented at EHA 2026 continue to demonstrate that a single dose of vispa-cel can produce durable responses on par with autologous CAR-T cell therapies in patients with second-line large B cell lymphoma, and a single dose of CB-011 results in deep, durable responses in high-risk patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. With our off-the-shelf approach, these programs have the potential to dramatically expand CAR-T cell therapy access for patients."
