TRTX Q2 Distributable Earnings Reach 48 Cents Per Share
Book value per common share was $10.95 as of June 30 compared to $11.06 at March 31. Regarding Q2 results, Doug Bouquard, CEO of TRTX, said: "TRTX delivered strong first-half results, generating Distributable Earnings of 48c per share that fully covered our year-to-date common stock dividend. We had a highly active second quarter, investing $466M into new loans across our target asset classes while receiving $274M of repayments. Importantly, we transformed our liability structure over the last quarter by closing a $400M Term Loan B and a $100M Corporate Revolver, securing highly durable, non-mark-to-market liquidity with the ability to drive steady earnings and long-term shareholder value. TRTX is exceptionally well-positioned to navigate the evolving commercial mortgage REIT landscape and capture accretive growth."
TRTX Exceeds Dividend in Q1, Strong Loan Portfolio Performance
Regarding first quarter results, Doug Bouquard, Chief Executive Officer of TRTX, said: "During the first quarter of 2026, we out-earned our common stock dividend and maintained a 100% performing loan portfolio. Currently, our total office loan exposure has been reduced to less than 5%, and nearly 70% of our loan portfolio consists of newer vintage originations made after January 2023 secured primarily by multifamily and industrial collateral. Our loan portfolio and well-capitalized balance sheet will enable us to take advantage of our robust investment pipeline through the remainder of 2026."
TRTX Reports $927 Million Loan Originations in Q4 2025
Regarding fourth quarter and year ended 2025 results, Doug Bouquard, Chief Executive Officer of TRTX, said: "During 2025, we originated $1.9 billion of total loan commitments, out-earned our common stock dividend, and maintained a 100% performing loan portfolio. Our fourth quarter loan originations of $927 million and loan repayments of $378 million continue to illustrate the velocity of our balance sheet and success of our investment and asset management strategy."
TPG RE Finance CFO Foley to Step Down, Fox Appointed as Interim CFO
TPG RE Finance Trust announced that Robert R. Foley, the company's chief financial officer, has decided to retire from TPG at the end of the year. He will become a senior advisor to TPG's real estate credit business and transition his day-to-day duties to Brandon Fox, TRTX's chief accounting officer, who will assume the role of interim chief financial officer of TRTX, effective October 1, 2025. "On behalf of our board and entire team, I want to thank Bob for his leadership and unwavering commitment to TRTX. He has played a critical role in growing and expanding our business over the past ten years, and we wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement," said Doug Bouquard, Head of TPG Real Estate Credit and Chief Executive Officer of TRTX. "Brandon has deep financial expertise and knowledge of TRTX's business, and we are confident he will seamlessly step into his expanded role as we continue to execute on our strategy and deliver results for our shareholders."
TPG RE Finance Launches $25 Million Share Buyback Initiative
TPG RE Finance "announced that the Company's board of directors has approved a new share repurchase program pursuant to which the Company is authorized to repurchase up to $25.0 million of the Company's common stock. The Program authorizes the repurchase of common stock from time to time on the open market or in privately negotiated transactions, including under 10b5-1 plans. The Program succeeds to a previously-authorized $25.0 million program, the remaining capacity of which was fully utilized during the third quarter of 2025."
