Tomi Environmental Expands Relationship with Global Eye Health Company
Tomi Environmental announced an expanded relationship with a global eye health company that develops and commercializes contact lenses, lens-care products, ophthalmic pharmaceuticals, and surgical technologies for eye-care professionals and patients worldwide. The customer purchased multiple handheld SteraMist systems for its South Carolina facility in March 2025. A second facility, in Florida, adopted the technology in late 2025. Additional orders in the third quarter, including SteraMist Environment Systems, brought combined revenue from the two sites to approximately $750,000. The customer has also entered into a recurring BIT Solution purchase agreement, establishing a contracted consumable revenue stream. The deployment follows a sequence often seen in regulated manufacturing. Customers commonly begin with handheld systems for targeted surface applications, extend use to additional facilities after performance is established, and then evaluate whole-room and integrated systems. This customer has completed the first of those steps and, in the third quarter of 2026, purchased Environment Systems. Further expansion at both facilities includes additional SteraMist Environment Systems and a CES for complete integrated automated decontamination. Tomi anticipates that some or all of the prospective orders could be received before the end of 2026, which totals in the range of approximately $960,000 to $1.7M.
Tomi Environmental Receives $402,000 Order from Zeyco
Tomi Environmental announced it has received a three-phase order valued at approximately $402,000 from Zeyco, a Mexican company dedicated to developing and manufacturing medicines and medical devices, as a global player in the market of dental anesthetics injectable cartridges. The order covers the phased deployment of SteraMist ionized Hydrogen Peroxide decontamination across three aseptic manufacturing lines at Zeyco's facility in Guadalajara, Jalisco, including the rooms supporting the filling of injectable solutions. It also includes installation, validation and qualification services, hydrogen peroxide monitoring equipment, and an initial supply of BIT Solution.
Tomi Environmental's SteraMist iHP Significantly Reduces Listeria
Tomi Environmental announced results from an independent laboratory study showing that SteraMist iHP sharply reduced Listeria monocytogenes living in biofilm, one of the hardest contamination problems for food companies to solve. Listeria monocytogenes is a foodborne pathogen and a recurring cause of costly product recalls. In processing facilities, it often forms biofilm, a protective layer that allows it to adhere to surfaces and withstand routine sanitation, enabling contamination to persist and driving demand for more effective control methods. On flat surfaces, untreated samples carried tens of millions of Listeria bacteria. After SteraMist iHP treatment, samples measured at or below the lab's detection limit, with an average reduction of greater than 7 log. The study also tested lactic acid bacteria, which shorten the shelf life of food; these were reduced by more than 5 log. On hard-to-reach equipment parts such as screws and manifolds, where bacteria are shielded inside threads and joints, Listeria was reduced by more than 3 log.
