First Western Reports Q2 Tangible Book Value of $24.87
Reports Q2 tangible book value per share $24.87. Net interest margin increased 9 basis points from 2.81% in Q1 2026 to 2.90% in Q2 2026. Scott Wylie, CEO of First Western, commented, "Our second quarter performance reflected continued execution across the franchise, highlighted by growth in net interest income, expansion in our net interest margin, disciplined expense management, stable asset quality, and positive noninterest-bearing deposit trends. Healthy economic activity across our markets continues to support high quality loan demand, while our focus on relationship-based banking is helping us steadily expand our deposit base. Coupled with careful balance sheet management, these efforts contributed to further growth in both book value and tangible book value per share during the quarter."
First Western's Net Interest Margin Rises to 2.71% in Q4 2025
Net interest margin increased 17 basis points from 2.54% in Q3 2025 to 2.71% in Q4 2025. Scott Wylie, CEO of First Western, commented, "We executed well in the fourth quarter and saw positive trends in many areas including loan growth, an increase in Net interest income, well managed expenses, and generally stable asset quality, which resulted in an increase in our level of profitability. We continue to see healthy economic conditions across our markets resulting in a solid amount of loan demand that meets our disciplined underwriting and pricing criteria, while adding full banking relationships by getting new deposit accounts with the loans. Our improving financial performance and continued prudent balance sheet management resulted in increases in both our book value and tangible book value per share during the fourth quarter. Our loan pipeline remains strong and we expect to see solid loan growth going forward, along with a continuation of the positive trends we are seeing in key areas, which we believe will result in another year of improved financial performance and value creation for our shareholders in 2026."

Our strong loan production reflects the healthy economic conditions we continue to see across our markets, as well as the contribution of banking talent we have added over the past few years, while we also continue to add new deposit relationships. Our improving financial performance and continued prudent balance sheet management resulted in increases in both our book value and tangible book value per share during the third quarter."

Scott Wylie, CEO of First Western, commented, "As expected, we generated a significant improvement in our level of profitability in the first quarter. We saw positive trends in many areas including an expansion in our net interest margin, a higher level of non-interest income, an increase in noninterest-bearing deposits, solid loan production, and well managed expenses. We also saw general stability in asset quality while having a substantial reduction in our nonperforming assets following the successful resolution of our two largest OREO properties, which were sold for a net gain."
