Mtron Q2 Revenue Reaches $15.1M, Exceeds Estimates
Reports Q2 revenue $15.1M, two estimates $14.75M. "Our second quarter results reflect continued momentum across our defense and aerospace business, with revenue increasing 13.8% and net income increasing 19.9%, and notably, adjusted EBITDA increasing 40.6% from Q2 2025 to $3.4 million," said Cameron Pforr, Chief Executive Officer. "This continues to demonstrate the effectiveness of Mtron's transformation into a strategic RF supplier with revenues doubling and earnings tripling from the Company's performance at the time of our 2022 initial public offering. Our backlog is continuing to grow with another strong quarter of bookings. M-tron Industries Secures $4M Defense Order
M-tron Industries announced orders totaling $4M from one of the rising U.S. Department of Defense contractors supporting a next-generation electronic warfare system. The order consists of several products, including high power handling spectrum control solutions. The program is receiving strong traction within U.S. defense procurement channels. The system is anticipated to be in production past 2030. This contract highlights Mtron's continued leadership in precision RF components and solutions in the EW space. Mtron supplies numerous U.S. and allied defense programs including precision guided munitions, communication, radar, electronic warfare systems, airframes, drones and autonomous vehicles, and space and satellite platforms.
M-tron Industries Announces Rights Offering Results
M-tron Industries announced the preliminary results of its rights offering. The Rights Offering commenced on March 31 and expired on April 20. 2,700,249 basic subscription rights were exercised to purchase an aggregate of 540,049 shares of the company's common stock, par value 1c, and 791,976 additional shares of common stock were subscribed for under the oversubscription privilege, subject to proration. The Rights Offering was oversubscribed. Subscription rights holders who exercised their Oversubscription Privilege will receive the available shares of common stock pro rata among such oversubscribing rightsholders in proportion to the number of shares of common stock that each such rightsholder requested in the oversubscription privilege. Excess amounts for any oversubscribed shares of common stock will be refunded to applicable rightsholders as soon as practicable via check without interest or deduction. The shares of common stock to be issued at the closing of the rights offering will be purchased at the subscription price of $59.00 per share. The company expects the subscription agent to distribute the shares of Common Stock and the proceeds from the Rights Offering on or about April 24.
M-Tron Industries Secures $2.7M Defense Order
M-Tron Industries announced an order for approximately $2.7M from one of the rising U.S. Department of Defense contractors in support of a major C-UAS radar program. The order consists of several products, including high performance, oven-controlled crystal oscillators. We are pleased to secure this $2.7M contract, which reflects both the strength of our new product offering and the growing demand we're seeing across our target markets," said Cameron Pforr, M-Tron Chief Executive Officer. "This win not only adds meaningful visibility to our near-term revenue, but also reinforces the trust customers are placing in our ability to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions. Radar applications are an area in which we are seeing explosive growth as we help address the changing needs of the joint forces on the modern battlefield." Work under this contract will take place in Orlando, Florida through mid-2027.
Company Focuses on Long-Term Orders, Extends Backlog to 2028
The company said, "The increase reflects the continued strategy and focus on securing large, long duration program centric business, which can materially affect backlog to the timing and size of these orders. In addition, in 2025, the Company closed several multi-year orders, which extends our backlog out through 2028."
