Moolec Science Completes 2026 GLASO Commercial Planting Campaign
Moolec Science announced the completion of the 2026 commercial planting campaign for its GLASO safflower program focused on the production of high-GLA specialty oils for industrial and advanced ingredient applications. Commercial planting activities commenced on May 4, 2026, and were successfully completed this week during the optimal agronomic planting window in the American Falls region of Idaho, an area recognized for its favorable conditions for safflower cultivation, including a semi-arid climate, low-humidity environment, well-drained soils, strong solar exposure, and access to established irrigation infrastructure. The 2026 campaign represents another important operational milestone as GLASO continues progressing toward larger-scale commercial execution supported by proprietary genetics, advanced agronomic management, and increasing demand for differentiated specialty oil solutions. All production fields were planted following extensive soil preparation, irrigation optimization, and seed conditioning protocols designed to maximize germination performance, crop emergence, and stand establishment. Based on current field conditions and forecasted temperatures, the Company expects strong crop establishment during the coming weeks.
Moolec Science Completes First Phase of GLASO1 Industrialization
Moolec Science, a subsidiary of Moolec Science, announced the successful completion of the first phase of industrialization of its GLASO1 safflower platform, following a 2025 campaign that materially exceeded all internal forecasts. Building on previously reported results confirming approximately 45% GLA concentration at commercial scale, the Company has now validated not only agronomic and processing performance, but also the industrial-scale handling and availability of high-purity GLA output.
Moolec Science Successfully Expresses Bovine Myoglobin in Pea Seeds
Moolec Science, a wholly owned subsidiary of Moolec Science SA, announced a significant scientific breakthrough in the production of animal proteins in plants. Through a sponsored research project with one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the United States of America, Moolec has successfully demonstrated the stable expression of bovine myoglobin, a heme-containing protein, within the seeds of the common pea. This 28-month research project represents the first reported case of producing bovine myoglobin in pea seeds, marking a significant expansion of Moolec's molecular farming platform beyond its current crop base.
