LifeMD Partners with Eli Lilly for Direct GLP-1 Drug Dispensing
LifeMD (LFMD) announced an arrangement with Eli Lilly (LLY) that enables LifeMD's affiliated pharmacy to directly dispense and ship Lilly's self-pay GLP-1 medicines, including Zepbound and Foundayo, to eligible patients across the United States. Under the arrangement, eligible patients prescribed a Lilly medication by a LifeMD-affiliated healthcare provider following an independent clinical evaluation can purchase that medication at Lilly's established self-pay price directly through LifeMD. Prescriptions will be fulfilled and shipped by LifeMD's licensed mail-order pharmacy, creating a seamless patient experience from consultation and prescribing to fulfillment and home delivery. The program includes both Zepbound and Foundayo. Lilly and LifeMD will continue to explore opportunities to expand access to additional medicines in the future. The expansion further strengthens LifeMD's vertically integrated care platform, combining virtual healthcare, clinical support, pharmacy services, and medication fulfillment within a single patient experience. It also reflects a shared commitment to improving access to evidence-based obesity treatment through a transparent and convenient care pathway.
H.C. Wainwright Gives LifeMD Buy Rating, Price Target $9
Commenting on LifeMD's (LFMD) exclusive collaboration with AT&T (T), which allows eligible AT&T wireless and fiber customers to receive a complimentary LifeMD membership with on-demand access to a nationwide virtual care and pharmacy platform, H.C. Wainwright notes that there are more than 100M eligible AT&T wireless and fiber customers nationwide. Clearly, this offering could help AT&T retain customers, in the firm's view, and the collaboration would funnel AT&T customers to LifeMD's platform without additional acquisition cost, thus creating a mutually beneficial partnership. Wainwright believes this exclusive collaboration could start to make meaningful contributions to LifeMD's topline revenue in Q4 2026. The firm reiterates a Buy rating on LifeMD with a price target of $9 on the shares.
LifeMD Cuts FY26 Revenue Outlook to $6B Loss
Consensus $222.05M. Cuts FY26 revenue view to loss of $6B to break even from $12M-$17M. "The second quarter reflected the planned step-down in marketing investment we described on our last call, with selling and marketing expense declining $1.8 million sequentially and other general and administrative expenses declining by approximately $2.2 million," said Atul Kavthekar, Chief Financial Officer of LifeMD. "Revenue aligned with our expectations in the quarter, and gross margin expanded to approximately 89%, driven by lower shipping and fulfillment costs, improved provider efficiency, and the continued scaling of our in-house pharmacy. Our recurring rebill base now represents approximately 84% of revenue and is the profit engine that funds our growth. We exited the quarter with $25.1 million in cash and no debt, and we amended our revolving credit facility, further strengthening our financial flexibility. As more patients choose longer-duration subscription plans and marketing spend declines in the second half, we expect cash to build through year-end."
LifeMD Sees Q3 Adjusted EBITDA Loss of $1M to Gain of $2M
Sees Q3 adjusted EBITDA loss of $1M to gain of $2M. "This transition to branded GLP-1 medications has weighed on near-term profitability, but it has produced a fundamentally stronger company that is more diversified. We are also encouraged by the progress we are seeing in Women's Health, the launch of XYOSTED with Halozyme, the continued expansion of our pharmacy, and the development of our pharmaceutical, enterprise, insurance, and Medicare channels. We expect to return to positive adjusted EBITDA in the second half and to exit 2026 at an annualized revenue run rate of approximately $250 million with approximately $22 million of annualized adjusted EBITDA. LifeMD has never been better positioned, and the second half of this year will begin to demonstrate what our expanding platform is capable of," concluded Schreiber.
