Lineage Cell Updates COR1 Corneal Cell Transplant Program
Lineage Cell provided an update on COR1, the Company's allogeneic corneal endothelial cell transplant program, in preclinical development for the treatment of corneal endothelial disease. With COR1, Lineage is deploying its ophthalmology and cell manufacturing expertise to achieve consistent, large-scale production of allogeneic CEnCs. COR1 is a pluripotent cell derived transplant designed to address the current deficiencies of donor-derived CEnCs, which are currently approved in Japan, including limited supply, donor variability and quality, extensive processing and handling, and brief shelf-life. The Company has successfully utilized its proprietary AlloSCOPE cell manufacturing platform to achieve seamless precursor bioreactor-based expansion and differentiation to support CEnC production which, together with a thaw-and-inject formulation, the company believes will offer a superior product profile and which meet Lineage's internal criteria for continued preclinical advancement.

Reports Q1 revenue $1.73M, consensus $3.6M. "This quarter, we continued to build on our developmental and clinical accomplishments. Most notably, we applied our proprietary cell manufacturing technology platform, AlloSCOPE(TM) (Allogeneic, Scalable, Consistent, Off-the-shelf, Pluripotent Cell Engineering), to launch COR1, our new, wholly-owned corneal endothelial cell therapy program. COR1 is a preclinical asset which we believe benefits from our existing ophthalmology and manufacturing expertise and represents a natural next application of our platform. We also achieved our first milestone with our AlloSCOPE 5D manufacturing initiative, aimed at addressing the challenges of large scale production of undifferentiated pluripotent stem cells. If successful at a larger scale, the overall goal is to leverage this initiative, together with a differentiation protocol, to address the insufficient supply of islet cells needed to support a potential treatment of Type 1 Diabetes," stated Brian M. Lineage Cell Therapeutics Presents 36-Month Results of RG6501
Lineage Cell Therapeutics (LCTX) announced that 36-month results from patients enrolled in a Phase 1/2a clinical study of RG6501 in patients with geographic atrophy secondary to age-related macular degeneration, were presented at the Foundation Fighting Blindness' Retinal Therapeutics Innovation Summit 2026. The presentation, "Retinal Pigment Epithelium Cell Therapy in Geographic Atrophy Secondary to Age-related Macular Degeneration: 3 Year Results from the Phase 1/2a Study," was presented by Eyal Banin, M.D., Ph.D., Center for Retinal and Macular Degenerations, Department of Ophthalmology Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center and Faculty of Medicine, on behalf of Roche and Genentech, a member of the Roche (RHHBY). Key highlights: Gains in best corrected visual acuity of +9 letters at 36 months among patients with extensive coverage of OpRegen cell therapy to the geographic atrophy lesion site; OCT imaging indicated partial restoration of outer retinal structure, re-appearance of an RPE layer, and features associated with recovery of photoreceptors; Anatomical and functional improvements occur following a single administration of OpRegen cell therapy
Lineage Cell Therapeutics Forms Scientific Advisory Board
Lineage Cell Therapeutics announced the formation of a Scientific Advisory Board, SAB, to provide strategic counsel and insights into the development of Lineage's novel cell transplant pipeline, built on the Company's proprietary cell differentiation and expansion platform, AlloSCOPE. The founding member of the SAB is Joachim Fruebis, Ph.D. Additional SAB members are expected to be added throughout the remainder of the year.
