Firefly Aerospace Signs New Agreement with Starcloud
Firefly Aerospace announced a new commercial payload agreement with Starcloud to demonstrate advanced AI computing capabilities in lunar orbit. Starcloud's computing payload, designated SC-1L, will fly onboard Firefly's Elytra orbital vehicle to validate the core capabilities of a future data center around the Moon that can support lunar surface and orbital infrastructure.
Firefly Aerospace Signs Multi-Launch Agreement with SSC Space
Firefly Aerospace announced a multi-launch agreement with SSC Space for two Alpha rocket launches from Sweden's Esrange Space Center, owned and operated by SSC Space. Targeted to launch no earlier than 2028, the missions will serve Sweden national security customers as well as additional commercial rideshare customers, marking a significant step forward in delivering orbital launch capabilities from mainland Europe. Under the multi-launch agreement, SSC Space secured the full payload capacity and can allocate payload space to its government and commercial customers, providing flexible accommodations and launch opportunities for the European satellite market.
Firefly Aerospace Secures Contract with Defense Innovation Unit
Firefly Aerospace announced a new contract with the Department of War's Defense Innovation Unit and Space Development Agency to complete a preliminary design review for a mission providing deorbit services with Firefly's Elytra spacecraft. Once the PDR is complete, Firefly will be eligible to compete for the next phase of mission execution, including launch and spacecraft operations. As part of Firefly's mission design, Elytra would be launched into low Earth orbit before maneuvering to the client space object, performing rendezvous proximity operations, surveying the client, and completing the deorbit service. Firefly's proprietary deorbit system integrated on Elytra can provide satellite deorbit operations in LEO, medium Earth orbit, or geostationary Earth orbit.

Reports Q2 revenue $117.68M, consensus $88.52M. "Breaking the $100 million mark with another quarterly revenue record demonstrates Firefly's amplified growth. With more than a half dozen contract wins during the second quarter, we are matching execution to rocket, spacecraft, and software orders across our programs," said Jason Kim, CEO of Firefly Aerospace.
Firefly Adds Two Moon Missions, Expands Campus for Mars Support

"We're also going beyond the Moon to Mars as we support the cutting-edge SkyFall mission for NASA. Our recent campus expansion allows us to meet the growing demand behind both Blue Ghost and Elytra for exploration and national security missions, while also meeting the growing demand for orbital launch vehicles."
