Brightstar Q2 Revenue at $584M, Below Expectations

Reports Q2 revenue $584M, consensus $592.83M. "Better-than-expected second quarter profits were driven by global same-store sales expansion and disciplined operational management, even as we invest in long-term growth initiatives," said Vince Sadusky, CEO of Brightstar. "We achieved several important milestones with our Italy B2C expansion efforts, and global iLottery wagers continue to grow at a double-digit pace. With the final Italy Lotto license payment behind us, revenue, profit, and cash flow are poised to inflect."

Brightstar Maintains FY26 Adjusted EBITDA View at $1.16B-$1.19B

Backs FY26 adjusted EBITDA view $1.16B-$1.19B. Backs FY26 capital expenditures view $450M-$475M. "Cash generation was strong in the first half of the year, funding important investments in the business," said Max Chiara, CFO of Brightstar. "We're increasing our OPtiMa cost savings target to $100 million by 2028 as we further optimize our organization and operations. The strength of our balance sheet and financial condition supports our balanced approach to capital allocation, which included returning $140 million to shareholders in the year-to-date period."

Brightstar Lottery Signs Seven-Year Contract Extension with Washington's Lottery

Brightstar Lottery announced that its subsidiary, Brightstar Global Solutions, has signed a seven-year contract extension with Washington's Lottery, under which Brightstar will provide the lottery with an upgraded gaming system and deploy thousands of new lottery terminals, self-service vending machines and other equipment to lottery retailers in the state of Washington. Brightstar has served as the primary lottery technology supplier to Washington's Lottery since 1996 and this agreement extends the contract through June 30, 2036.
