BioLineRx Issues 1,348,921 ADS at $2.78 Each
BioLineRx announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement for the purchase of an aggregate of 1,348,921 of the company's American Depositary Shares at a purchase price of $2.78 per ADS through a registered direct offering. In addition, the company has agreed to issue accompanying warrants to purchase up to an aggregate of 2,023,382 ADSs, at a purchase price of $2.78 per ADS via a concurrent private placement. The warrants will have an exercise price of $2.78 per ADS and will expire five years from the issuance date. Each ADS represents six hundred ordinary shares, par value NIS 0.10 per share, of BioLineRx. The closing of the offering is expected to occur on or about August 31. Chardan is acting as the exclusive placement agent for the offering.
BioLineRx Announces New Data on GLIX1 and PARP Inhibitors Synergy
BioLineRx announced new preclinical data demonstrating strong synergy between GLIX1 and PARP inhibitors in a patient-derived xenograft model of ovarian cancer. Today's results represent a "compelling" in vivo confirmation of GLIX1 and PARPi synergy from an HR-proficient ovarian cancer PDX model: The study included six arms: cisplatin, GLIX1 monotherapy and olaparib monotherapy, low-dose GLIX1, a low-dose GLIX1/olaparib combination arm, and a control arm; Results show substantially better efficacy in the combination arm versus the control arm and versus the monotherapy arms, despite using lower doses in the combination arm; The low-dose GLIX1/olaparib combination tumor reduction was similar to cisplatin, the current chemotherapy benchmark
Company Reports Q1 Revenue of $0.5M, Achieves Milestone in GLIX1 Clinical Trial
Reports Q1 revenue $0.5M vs.$0.3M last year. "Since our last quarterly update, we achieved a significant milestone for our company and for the GLIX1 development program with the dosing of the first patient in our Phase 1/2a clinical trial of GLIX1 in glioblastoma," stated CEO Philip Serlin. "We are also very encouraged by compelling new pre-clinical data showing that GLIX1 demonstrated robust dose-dependent tumor-growth inhibition and survival benefit in orthotopic cell-derived xenograft GBM models. BioLineRx and Hemispherian Release Encouraging Preclinical Data for GLIX1
BioLineRx and Hemispherian AS, a clinical-stage oncology company developing novel small molecule therapeutics, announced highly encouraging new preclinical data that further support the recently initiated Phase 1/2a clinical trial evaluating GLIX1 for the treatment of recurrent and progressive GBM and other high-grade gliomas. GBM remains one of the most aggressive and treatment-resistant cancers, urgently in need of breakthrough innovations and more effective treatment. In a comprehensive pre-clinical program, orally administered GLIX1 demonstrated robust anti-tumor activity in orthotopic cell-derived xenograft GBM models, as well as in a newly completed subcutaneous TMZ-resistant patient-derived xenograft GBM model. In the three orthotopic CDX studies, significant tumor growth inhibition and survival benefit were observed following treatment with GLIX1 across all doses tested, with greater benefit at higher dose levels. In these models, mice treated with TMZ also showed significantly decreased tumor volume and survival benefit. Most notably, in the subcutaneous PDX model, GLIX1 demonstrated a robust anti-tumor effect while TMZ showed no effect. BioLineRx and Hemispherian plan to present the data from these studies at one or more future medical conferences.
BioLineRx and Hemispherian Initiate GLIX1 Clinical Trial
BioLineRx and Hemispherian announced that the first patient has been dosed in the first-in-human, Phase 1/2a study of GLIX1 for the treatment of recurrent and progressive glioblastoma and other high-grade gliomas. The GLIX1 program is being conducted under a collaboration between BioLineRx and Hemispherian announced in September 2025. "The dosing of the first patient in our Phase 1/2a study of GLIX1 is an important milestone for BioLineRx and, more importantly, for patients battling glioblastoma, a very challenging tumor where there has been very little innovation over the past 20 years," said Philip Serlin, Chief Executive Officer of BioLineRx. "We believe GLIX1 has the potential to offer a novel therapeutic approach in this cancer indication, as well as in multiple other cancer indications, where DNA damage repair is critical for cancer survival. We are excited to advance GLIX1 development into this first-in-human clinical trial and look forward to initial data in the first half of 2027."
