Reports Q1 revenue $11K vs. $4K last year. During the quarter, the company made progress toward adoption of MST by Gate-All-Around manufacturers and expanded its GaN offerings to RF applications. "We made excellent progress during the first quarter toward adoption of MST by GAA manufacturers, engaging with another of the four companies that manufacture those advanced transistors," said CEO Scott Bibaud.

Atomera Expands Collaboration with Synopsys to Advance GaN Device Modeling
Atomera (ATOM) "announced an expanded collaboration with Synopsys (SNPS) to advance gallium nitride (GaN) device modeling for radio frequency and power semiconductor applications. The work builds on the companies' long-standing relationship around Synopsys' Sentaurus TCAD and Atomera's MSTcad toolset and extends the collaboration into GaN workflows to support bringing higher-quality GaN solutions to market. Under the collaboration, Atomera will use Synopsys' Sentaurus TCAD tools to develop a GaN calibration methodology for TCAD workflows, create marketing materials and calibrated TCAD decks for GaN devices, and provide product feedback to Synopsys. Synopsys and Atomera have worked together for years to enable modeling of Atomera's MST technology within Synopsys' Sentaurus TCAD environment. This collaboration enables support for Atomera's MSTcad capabilities and allows customers and partners to evaluate the physical and electrical effects of MST using Synopsys' process and device simulation tools."
Atomera Appoints Nishant Sinha as Head of Marketing
Atomera "announced the appointment of Nishant Sinha as its new Head of Marketing. The addition reflects the company's continued focus on accelerating growth amid the AI fueled semiconductor ecosystem. Sinha brings over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry spanning strategy, business development and growth leadership. As VP of Marketing, reporting to the CEO, Sinha will lead Atomera's marketing, strategy and customer development focusing on expanding adoption of the company's core Mears Silicon Technology(TM) (MST(R)). His deep expertise across semiconductor process, integration, value chain and product domains aligns closely with Atomera's growing business needs and strategic priorities. Prior to joining the company, he held leadership roles at Applied Materials, Lam Research and Micron Technology, where he has a proven track record of shaping and executing technical and business roadmaps, delivering measurable growth."
Atomera to Issue 5 Million Shares at $5 Each
Atomera announced that it has entered into a definitive securities purchase agreement with certain institutional investors for the purchase and sale of an aggregate of 5M shares of common stock, at an offering price of $5.00 per share, in a registered direct offering, for expected gross proceeds of approximately $25M before placement agent fees and other offering expenses payable by Atomera. The offering is expected to close on or about February 24, subject to customary closing conditions. Craig-Hallum is acting as sole placement agent for the offering. Atomera intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for working capital and general corporate purposes.
