Nokia Signs Commercial Agreement with BeeHealthy
Nokia announced a commercial agreement with BeeHealthy, a digital healthcare platform, to integrate Nokia's Network as Code technology into the consumer-facing applications BeeHealthy provides to care providers and insurers. The collaboration enables network-based verification that replaces SMS one-time passcodes with a more secure way for patients to access digital healthcare services on their mobile devices. The agreement makes BeeHealthy the first healthcare-sector commercial customer for Nokia's Network as Code platform.
Nokia Opens R&D Center in Riyadh Focused on AI Network Automation
Nokia announced the opening of its new research and development center in Riyadh, focused on developing AI-powered network automation software. The center will create software that enables communications networks to self-configure, self-heal, optimize performance, reduce energy consumption and operate with greater autonomy. The center will specialize in Service Management and Orchestration, Self-Organizing Networks, Autopilot and rApps for automation and energy efficiency. Its teams will develop AI-driven capabilities for communications service providers and enterprises in Saudi Arabia, while exploring the development of AI-native 6G technologies, and contributing "Made in Saudi" software innovations for Nokia customers worldwide. The launch follows an agreement announced earlier this year between His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Saudi Arabia and Nokia President and CEO Justin Hotard.

Celestial Acquisition announced that it has terminated the business combination agreement dated April 15 among Nokia Solutions and Networks Oy, Nokia of America Corporation and Modulate Space Corporation.
