Perk announced the close of a $300M private credit facility led by Neuberger Speciality Finance, alongside Blue Owl Capital Inc. (OWL), Hercules Capital Inc. (HTGC) and Liquidity. The facility upsizes and replaces Perk's 2024 credit facility on materially improved terms.

Hercules Achieves $1.81 Billion in New Debt and Equity Commitments in Q1 2026
"Following record-breaking new originations in 2025, Hercules reached an all-time high in new debt and equity commitments of $1.81 billion in Q1 2026," stated Scott Bluestein, chief executive officer and chief investment officer of Hercules. "Our equally strong funding activity led to net debt portfolio growth of $298.0 million, driving our total investment income to a record $141.5 million. Our capital deployments continue to be thoughtfully balanced between our Life Sciences and Technology sectors as we carefully navigate through our robust pipeline of opportunities amidst a dynamic market environment. We achieved these new records while employing the disciplined credit and underwriting standards that have guided us throughout our history. We believe our platform's scale, balance sheet and liquidity continue to give us a competitive advantage and position us well to benefit from tailwinds produced by the current market conditions and support our continued growth throughout 2026."
Hercules Capital Appoints New CFO
Hercules Capital announced changes in its executive leadership team to accelerate its next phase of growth and operational scaling. Effective May 18, Seth Meyer, who has served as CFO since 2019, will be promoted to President. Succeeding him as CFO effective May 18 is Andrew Olson. As President, Meyer will continue to report to the CEO. Olson brings over 19 years of experience in leadership roles within both private and public investment companies. Most recently, Olson served as Partner, CFO and COO at Revelation Partners, a healthcare-focused secondary investment firm. Prior to Revelation Partners, Olson served as CFO at SVB Capital. Olson has also held roles as CFO at TriplePoint Capital and TriplePoint Venture Growth, a NYSE-listed company, and served as VP of Finance and Senior Controller, as well as Interim CFO, at Hercules Capital from 2014 to 2017.
