Callan JMB Invests $16M to Build IV Bag Facility in Alabama
Callan JMB is providing shareholders with a timeline to break ground on an intravenous bag manufacturing and distribution facility at the Atlas Complex in Marion, Alabama. The $16M facility will be fully funded by a third party through a non-dilutive, non-interest-bearing partnership. The company recently announced formal approval of blueprints for the construction and expects to break ground before the end of October. Once the construction is complete and the facility becomes fully operational, it is projected to generate $450M in annual revenue, including $300M from standard IV bags and $150M from premixed drug IV bags. The facility is planned within the Marion 9 Biomanufacturing Center at the Atlas Complex and demonstrates Callan JMB's previously announced pharmaceutical manufacturing initiative with Alabama State University. The blueprint approval significantly advanced the project and provided the design basis to break ground to construct a state-of-the-art facility combining automated production with quality-control and advanced distribution capabilities.
Callan JMB and Alabama State University Form Strategic Joint Venture with $60M Investment
Callan JMB, Bia Power Systems and Alabama State University announced a strategic joint venture to establish an advanced transformer and electrical-equipment manufacturing and assembly operation in Brewton, Alabama. The project represents an anticipated investment of approximately $60M and is expected to expand domestic production capacity for equipment serving the nation's rapidly growing power-infrastructure needs. The manufacturing operation is planned for an ASU-owned facility in Brewton and is expected to support electric utilities, data centers, industrial operators, renewable-energy developers and other infrastructure customers across North America. At full planned capacity, the venture is projected to support more than $150M in annual manufacturing revenue, with commercial sales targeted to begin within nine months following groundbreaking. For Callan JMB, the venture advances the strategy established through Callan Power, the company's wholly owned subsidiary focused on energy resilience, grid reliability and the domestic manufacturing of transformers and other critical electrical equipment. The initiative also extends Callan JMB's experience in logistics, critical supply chains, infrastructure and preparedness into a market facing sustained equipment shortages, long procurement timelines and increasing demand.
Callan JMB Forms Strategic Partnership with Alabama State University
Callan JMB announced a strategic partnership with Alabama State University to support the development of an integrated pharmaceutical manufacturing ecosystem designed to strengthen domestic pharmaceutical production, enhance supply chain resilience, advance workforce development, and improve national medical preparedness. Under the agreement, Callan JMB will provide operational infrastructure, including logistics, regulatory compliance, and warehousing services, and will receive 21% of the gross revenue generated by qualifying manufacturing operations. Management estimates the initiative could represent a potential $414M five-year revenue opportunity for the company, with potential annual revenues reaching approximately $105M. "This partnership represents far more than a new business opportunity-it reflects our vision for the future of healthcare infrastructure in the United States," said Wayne Williams, CEO of Callan JMB. "As demand grows for secure domestic pharmaceutical manufacturing and more resilient supply chains, we believe integrated operational platforms like the one we are developing with Alabama State University will become increasingly important. Together, we have the opportunity to create an ecosystem that could bring manufacturing, logistics, regulatory compliance, workforce development, research, and distribution together in one location, creating a model that could help reshape how critical pharmaceutical products are developed, manufactured, and delivered in the United States".
